That was how I felt about my RahXephon. Love that thing. I have not pulled the trigger on this..yet. I suspect I will though.

I'll wait on TJ's and others reviews before deciding to pull the trigger. Like I said earlier I just love the Brave vibe he gives off.

Really looking forward to receiving this one. I actually cancelled RahXephon to use the funds on this bot. And I like the RahXephon anime a lot.

Well guys here is the verdict...figure looks great, fun to transform{the book lacks to show a few things..BUT you 100 percent HAVE to use the stands to pose this guy,OR he does a split or falls backward because of his knee joints. Be very careful with this guy as parts tend to fall off jointed areas, but are easily replaced. Its very floppy, you cannot pose him without the stand, its possible but I wouldnt leave him in an A pose in your shelf,i was so irritated until i remembered the stands as I was trying to pose him, then all was better! He is very striking in both poses. One of the very weird things is the weapons,Gallatt can hold his major ones, spear, rifle and Light saber But cant hold any of teh traditional swords!they have like a cylinder plug right in the middle of the handles which is for the same hole you attach the stand arm too!think SKL sword. So basically the sword weapons are useless for Big Robot gallat because you need the stand hole for standing! BTW the hole is under a small G on the backpack, its a flap.all is not lost though as the little robot form can hold the swords in his claw hands which have the same peg hole inside them.AND Gallatt can hold his big spear, light saber and rifle, which are his main weapons anyhow,he just cant hold traditional swords UNLESS you cut teh pegs off. The toy is an ingenious transformation though, its very cool, and teh stands with the Japanese writing are very hip. There are little cool things about this toy like a secret spot in teh backpack for holding an emulated gun barrel.and the sculpt and transformation is cool. There is some diecast but not much, the backpack and waist skirts are diecast and some other small bits, but most of the rest is all plastic, good quality though.Paint apps are perfect. Oh watch out when putting the small robot's face on they dont tell you to remove a white plastic thraot piece first, they add a small update paper about pulling back the head spike, but its a bit confusing, just take your time..looks great but some stuff is lacking, they had to use a stand but then the engineering is complicated, they could have made better clips so the legs dont split,I may make a little clip to hold them together, but then again mine are on the stands...oh think Baldios legs, that is whay the stand is a must. One other small annoyance is I thought one leg was longer than teh other, but I found out there is like a triple jointed knee or something,I took the leg apart to see that tghere is a joint which can cause his knee to go up higher,i would not have noticed but for the taller leg.Its odd to work it too,you have to bend teh leg and push it kinda firmly toward the knee, its weird. Overall i give Galatt a 7..for great try! Would I recommend him? Only if you love his look, and like transforming..and they look great in my cases in both forms! I know the review is a bit negative, but there are a few issues here, but overall its a very cool toy,if you dont mind a few faults like standing up without a stand haha,he is pretty unique.

Thanks for the review and pic. Good to know what to expect. I look forward to the transformation. My pleasure! Just also want to say there are some very very cool subtleties in the transformation, almost genious like, you have to take the great with the minor faults here. The way the 2 robots heads switch is really neat, and there is alot to it! I found the head design transformation very intrigueing.Whoever got this toy should be happy, its extremely unique amongst other recent toys, and a real breath of fresh air. BTW he does have some heft, for what he is made of,actually expected a much lighter toy,but he is very compact.

Cool, thanks for the review! Sucks it can't stand on it's own which I think is a major flaw but I'm glad I'm getting it and don't regret giving this line a chance.

Its not really an issue unless they are set unevenly,Im not sure of the point on why they made those extra joints inside teh knee. Its not a big deal really youll see.

Thanks for the review Baron. Sounds fun. Didn't know about the display stand. I like it when they include things to correct problems with the figure holding poses.

Great review baron! Really stinks about the knees, though. I hate having to use a stand for "normal" poses.

mine not yet arrived from amiami.. Don't understand why megahouse can't even address is simple issue like cannot even stand up during their initial stage of design.. So disappointed.. If they can do it right the other 2 side kick will be a good sell.. But I will consider want to get the other 2,if they even release..

I don't fancy using a stand either...hopefully it can stand just a basic pose.

I don't fancy using a stand either...hopefully it can stand just a basic pose. You dont believe me Mr.Roboto? It cannot stand in a basic pose as i said already. You can put one leg forward and one back, you can get it to stand in some poses,.If you try a straight A pose it will lean forward, fall backward or do a split, sure you may be able to tweak it to stay standing, but its not meant to really and I wouldnt trust it in a case like that..Why not take advantage of the stand? Its not a cumbersone SOC stand with crap and fists stuck all over it,the stand is a very cool stand, even If It could stand on its own Id use it. I agree that wit all the engineering gone into this toy, they could have figured a way to clip teh legs together so they dont do a split, and reinforced the knees, but it is what it is..and teh stand does a great job.

That's such a shame, having a figure stand on it's own is one of the first and most basic rules and priorities of making any figure. Stands should be only used for extreme posing or flight poses or what have you, bases are something else. Still I can't wait to get it but Megahouse is now on my Class B list and any figure they make will be a maybe and my confidence in their engineering and QC is now suspect with me.

I agree Chen, but its isnt a wash out,the robot is very cool, youll see.It just has issues here and there, but worth the price at least.

True, it's nice to have a figure of Galatt it would have been even better if the toy was fantastic too. It's why I stay away from the Evolution stuff, I love the characters but I loath the toys and I'm not going to purposely buy I toy I know I will be disappointed in, especially expensive ones. But Galatt does look good and most of my stuff are just shelf warmers so it's not a huge deal that you need a stand or it can't be kept in poses with-out it.
