Chen there are a few very limited poses it can do,but a basic A stance it cant really pull off,or if it does stay up you have to have it leaning forward, the second the knees bend backward its all over.

Got mine, good sculpt and decent amount of metal. Bad side is like Baron this thing can't stand on it's own. That is totally not-acceptable and is toy making 101, the panels don't lock, no ratchet joints and the "G" symbol on mine won't stay up. This is NOT SOC quality, perhaps the paint and finish MIGHT come close but I get the same QC on SRC's which cost way less. The engineering is no where near SOC, SRC, or POS level. If this where all plastic it would have been a much better figure but as is it's another case where a company just adds metal but doesn't have the knowledge or experience to compensate the design for it. I'm not even going to bother to transform it, it will stay in one pose on it's stand and stay like that. It does look nice and I'm glad I got a Galatt figure but I honestly can't recommend this toy.

Chen you can pull out the little piece under the G,its meant to spin around to hide it in small robot mode, you can play with it a little, there is a post you push the G up and down and and also the lower outlining piece under the G pulls out too, look in the instructions on that part, let me know if it helps. It is hard to recommend teh piece but it does look good static on a shelf liek a model, but that is about it!

Thanks I'll try that and yeah it does look good, but it's like a hot girl who has bad breath and a short temper, good to look at but don't get to close lol. I'm hoping Sentinel with it's new diecast line isn't like this.

I had issues that were resolved nicely with the G on teh chest once I fiddled with it,it stays in nicely now,not super tight but it looks right.

I just got mine in and was upset at how flimsy the legs are. I couldnt believe it was designed this way. Not sure if anyone mentioned it, but there are four tabs that secure the legs from splitting apart. while this design is horrible because it uses tabs that are way too small for this job, it will work if you are displaying. My fear is that the tabs will wear out after a while so I devised a simple fix for this if anyone is interested. I have mine displayed without any stand. This will only help in keeping the legs together without using the sorry excuse for tabs. rocketpuncharmy.blogspot.com/2013/09/variable-action-hi-spec-choriko-robo.html

Is it just me or are those tabs just a horrible design? You are right, they don't like to stay in. If you get em to lock, then any other movement makes em snap off. Snap one on, do the other and the other snaps off...PITA Seems like designing bigger locking tabs was to much for their engineering department.

The rear ones I cant even get one to snap in could you?Its impossible, teh front two stay in with a trick..I wedged something in between the grey space in the middle forcing the tabs to widen out thus keeping them snapped in.They are locked now, eventually I will remove the wedge and hopefully they will stay on their own like that, maybe add a bit of heat from a blow dryer. Is your fix the same?

Mine arrived today. Haven't opened yet but I'm very impressed with the box art, especially the hidden cockpit art printed clear with glossy finish. Love the flap to reveal Galatt in its tray too.

Damn. Broke the g off by accident. Upset...... . It's an incredibly fragile piece and provided no resistant before breaking off. Not sure if it's repairable since its such a tiny part. Other than that, both modes look great but pose horribly without the stand. But love the way it looks. transformation was fun and ingenious. The breakage ruined it all for me though.

that sucks bro, sorry to hear that.Actually though when in big robot mode you have to open up the little G to stick the stand pin in,the little G looks weird just hanging there, actually it would be better with it off! So hey put it in big Galatt mode and screw the G!!take it right off!

Actually it's the big G that was broken. It was held in place by a 2 mm plastic peg. My solution, slab a piece of quake hold behind it and call it good.

The thing I am afraid of is the little tabs wearing out, they are way too small. All that stress on thos little things cant be good for the little plastic used. My fix doesnt actually hold the tabs securely, it leaves them unhooked but the elastic just holds the legs from splitting apart since the tabs arent attached. I can only get his right leg to secure, but his left only the front tabs in. I think through the CAD process it worked out but after production clearances loosen up and plastic softness just doesnt work in its favor.

I just love the box. Detailed and more important, SMALL. Can't get enough of the color scheme on this fig. It is just so awesome. I can't stop looking at it. BTW, I have been able to peg in the four tabs on the legs. I can display it without the stand with no problem. I was tricky to get the two tabs on the back to peg. Pulling the midged bot head creast out all I could helped when pegging it. I'll post pics tomorrow.

Rear pegs dont peg in,not on my 2 anyhow, the front ones do with help from inserting something in the space. You dont need them to stay anyhow on teh base, your right.

Baron, I tried focusing on the tabs in the back. The frontal ones basically did themselves after getting the others locked.
Before I noticed the ones in the back, I could only keep one of the front ones locked.

Oh I see you removed the piece, that is why mine wont lock in teh rear as I kept teh crest in.BUt they are locked now as I pulled out the wedge I had in teh middle of the space to push the sides outward, and it stayed locked now!It just needed some remolding.
Wonderful shots!! Maybe others will actually want him now!
