I really love the grendy soc and really like to see him in my display cabinet. The only problem with him is the chrome parts tend to oxidise I dont want to keep him back in box.. is there a solution to this problem ? My last resort is to airbrush the chrome parts silver. Or maybe white Actually.. is it an oxidation or not ?? Most of us who owned this soc will know what kind of problem that I'm talking about.. So.. any solutions ?

I have two SOC Grendizers, the original GX-04 and the GX-04S. I was going to paint the limbs white on the GX-04S, but then CM's announced their version. I'll probably leave the SOCs alone and just display the CM's one with the SOC Mazingers since it is taller anyway. Now, I have never tried it, but if oxidation is the problem, why not polish and then wax the chrome parts instead? The wax may keep the moisture away from the chome... }D

you can put one of those dehumidifier buckets in the room to keep the moisture away from the figures.

Other soc doesn't have this kind of problem, dancouga's sword is another kind of problem. The grendy's chrome didnt rust, it didnt even become yellowish. It just become dull like its in a sauna, or extra cold all is new and shiny once we wipe it. I displayed it in a cabinet, no direct sunlight, fully air conditioned room, like in a toy museum .. sent from photon power lab
