What are the chance they re release reissue some popular soc's? (Specifically gx-40 and gx-59) would love to add theses guys but the prices ar nuts.
While I'm asking long shot questions, a gx-23 revised would be nice too..

SOC's periodically get reissued, but you just never know who and when. I think the upcoming reissue is GX-23 Zambot 3.

I've read that Bandai is done with the Grendizer GX-04/GX-04S and the Combattler GX-03. No more reissue on those two. Haven't found anything about the rest. }D

Zambot (GX-23) just got re-issued recently. You can still get it for quite cheap at amiamia or other online retailer.

Instead of Re-issuing (nothing wrong with that), Bandai should move on to other SOC robot characters which haven't been made yet.... ...and there are Many characters which haven't been made yet.

Actually, bandai have already done a god mars reissue some time back. Maybe 2-3 years ago.

But i am still quite grateful they are churning out new characters every once in a while. And the newer ones benefited more from modern technology than their older siblings.

I'm curious to see if they can reissue the Godmars now with the same SRP, as costs have gone up in the past few years.

They did, there are 2 versions of SOC godmars. Something about a weak knee joint, but no -R designation as far as I am aware.

oh, didnt realized that there were an improvement over the original. I never experienced any weak knee joints on mine. Then, again i never play with it much.

Actually, i even broke one of the pieces (a leg belonging to a smaller bot if i remembered correctly) on the reissue, fortunately i was able to tucked everything away and it didnt show in combiner mode.

IIRC, the original didn't have problems, but the reissue had a weak joint in the robot leg (Uranus, the white one). Sadly I don't think there's a way to tell the original from the reissue based only on the box, or on the toy itself, short of the actual breakage happening.
