Tried to pre-order from AmiAmi and when i tried to check out it says...
Currently we do not have enough qty for this item to cover your order. Please go back to the cart, and process again. We apologize for any inconvenience.
What a tease.

Anyone have a second best option as to where to pre-order the GX-64 after AmiAmi? BBTS HLJ Looks like your only option now from the two that tsamtsam28 posted would be BBTS as it now looks like HLJ has stopped taking preorders for it.

$225 is not too bad for BBTS. Yeah, you'll probably have to wait a month after it is initially released, but I thing that price wise, even if you got from Amiami, it would end up being almost the same (after you factor in the mandatory EMS shipping fee - which will probably be between $40 - $45 USD). }D

239.99 on BBTS now. Is shipping that much through AmiAmi? I know its a sizeable box but...damn.

Sadly, Ami Ami can charge more for shipping than others, however they do put the item in an oversized box with lots of paper around it to cushion it. In my experience with Ami Ami the price they charge is very fair for the size and weight of the item. They sometimes seem more expensive to some of us that use HLJ, because HLJ has discounted shipping prices.

Yeah so don,t fret if your collectible is sold out at AmiAmi.
I just order it from BBTS or Amazon if sold out at AmiAmi. . After all done and done, the final price is shockingly close to AmiAmi,s. like Less then 10 difference....

Luckily the box was tough and it did not get hurt inside.

Thus far it was a one time thing. Another good company, though others seem to have bad xp with, is Nippon-Yassan. Their packaging has been very, very good. You also don't have to pay until a certain period around the release date. Means you can pay a couple days beforehand and the shipment is made on day of release!

Bandai is just cashing in on the 2199 SBY anime wave. Can't really blame them for that. Yeah, none of the SBY ships should've been SOCs to begin with, but nothing can change that now.
