Man...if it only comes with few accessories...I would have jumped on it...Jongaaaaaaaar It doesn't. No interchangeable hands, etc... not even the little boy Kentaro. I dunno why I wish to have Jungar as a Revoltech not a chogokin!

Yeah..they need way more things to be included for that price.....the box is very nice though...I wish HLPRO jumps on that and be part of their MT.

im not a fan of this character but it looks pretty goode, except on his back with those screws been a way to noticeable. For what it is, i don't think that it should cost more than $120, i mean the thing doesn't have any accessories (not counting the stand)so for that price i would expected a DVD or Blue Ray collection to go with it to at least justify that price.
for that kind of price i could just simply go and buy the SRC figures which are way more affordable than this so this is a pass very easly.

Never heard of it, but damn if that's not the silliest looking robot I've ever seen lol.

Astroganger was the second super robot ever created and the first one to be shown in color beating Mazinger Z. He doesn't have a pilot but a controller and is sentient though.

Never heard of it, but damn if that's not the silliest looking robot I've ever seen lol. - Technically, he is not a robot (he is a live space alloy) that merges with the kid Kentaro for a maximum power. - He looks cool but since he's a 1972 anime character, he wasn't drawn that well. Yet, his basic design for his time isn't silly at all. - Known as Jongar in the Middle East and Astroganga in Italy, he is an icon. - The show is more fun than many of pointless modern super robot shows! A restylized ver.

He predates the super robot concept, mazinger was the first to be called that and have weapons and attacks that differ super robots from tetsujin, giant robo, ambassador magma etc. The figure looks alright outside of the screw holes but not for price, it's a shame there doesn't seem to be enough love for this guy in japan to warrant a figure by bandai or even evolution toys.

Revoltech Yamaguchi is already receiving many messages now asking for the creation of Astrognager. If it's forgotten in Japan, it is not in the Middle East and Italy. I wouldn't mind a chogokin figure of him later, but I want a Revoltech figure first cuz it will be in good scale with my SR collection since Ganger is a shorty, only 7 meters tall in the anime.

And ofcourse someone who thinks classic art is outdated restylizes Astroganga into an ugly modern overstylized sharp edged monstrosity.Notice the same brain behind it cant get the past tense of draw correct."Drawed"

THe more I look at it the more it grows on me in it's infinite goofiness. If it was like $60 I would buy it.
