Anybody who has bought from Anime Export in the past, how much do they actually undervalue the items? I just got Metal Build F91 Harrison Custom for 21000 yen new sealed which I think is ok price but never shopped from them before and I am believe it or not a bit worried that they undervalue it too much and the post actually will get suspicious and open it up.

Do you roughly remember how much the stated value was? is it a percentage or a fixed value? Thanks. I am going to ask AE too.
In the past customs here would sometimes open the box in order to search for any receipts. They would do this is if they suspected that the declared value was unreasonable low. In fact sometimes if they have time, they google it up and in some cases, which has happened to me, is that they mail you and ask about receipts of bank transfers or CC purchase. In the latter two cases they do not open the box.

Here's my first shield configuration attempt with the Astraea. I used both the shoulder and skirt armor mounts for this. I've discovered the reason for the additional supports included in the options pack. The shields will sag without them if you want to do some kind of wing config. The shield mounts aren't as stiff as I had hoped with more than the original 4 shields attached. I may try some blue tack to fix that before resorting to the supports.

On a different subject: I love the MB Gold Frame with the included spear / shield weapon, but have always been disappointed it didn't come with the beam fx parts for the different modes like the RG kit came with when it was released later, so I was thinking about creating them. Problem is, I don't know how to do this. Anyone familiar with making some minor custom parts for gunpla that may work for something like this? The attached Pic is the RG fx parts

They undervalue it very low man, IIRC like 20 usd or something..you better email them quick and advise what to put on it.

20 USD is quite low yes. 50 USD I don't think they would suspect anything.
Yes I just e-mailed them and requested them to declare the full price. I don't want to risk anything. Already requested for shipment before realising it. But I have not gotten the actual shipping invoice yet. So maybe it is not too late.

jakcrow: You may consider "green stuff", available in any modeling or warhammer store. You can do a lot of creative things with it, such as part duplication, create mold, make your own custom part, etc. The green stuff may take 24h to fully harden, after that feel free to play with it. Or even paint on it. shompola: If you ship to EU (guess so, because US people dont have import customs?), you may consider French Priority Line service. They may take 2 weeks to arrive. And high chance of no tax on it

HIi dgn0000, this is anime-export and not Nippon Yasan. I have used via France with Nippon Yasan and I was satisfied.
I am not afraid of paying customs fees. I have been doing it for almost two decades now since I started collecting bots. I am more afraid of customs getting suspecious and opening the box due to gift/very low value declared. But maybe it doesn't work like that? Unfounded and paranoid I am? Regardless, I have sent enquries to Anime Export. Also, how long time do I have to pay for shipping? I have already paid for the item. But they never quoted for deadline for payment of shipping, and I was a bit too quick and clicked on the ship now button. anime-export now quoted me for shipping. EMS is less than I thought, and they also quoted for SAL. But on their webpage they say they don't offer SAL for items valued more than 15000 YEN.
I will wait until 26th of December and see what happens.

Yikes, anime-export is an unsecure site. And it is very inconcistent. You can type in anime-export.com, and you go to the secure site. However, as soon you click on any link, it is unsecure again. However, all of the unsecure pages, have a secure equivalent. Just replace http with https on the link you hover around. This is a very weird site.

Well AE was fast to respond to my e-mail enquries and yesterday shipped with EMS Harrison Custom. Looking forward to the figure. I hear the gundam itself is on the smaller size. How big is it? I don't have many MBs... But I have destiny. Is it the same size?

Most MB are 1/100 scale this one is no exception, the f91 is designed to be a small and agile MS so yes is smaller than most MB about 15~16cm.

Enjoy, I had a F91 before, awesome figure!

The MB F91 is around 1/90 scale. The figure is about 17cm to the top of the head. Actual height for F91 is 15.2 meters. The Astrays are about 18cm, 00 Gundams and Destinys are 18.5cm, Strike Freedom is 19.5cm.

Messing around with the Astraea Avalung trying to find a display configuration I like, just thought I'd share in case anyone digs either of them: imgur.com/a/U7hU9ID

This one is a very unique design and the option parts adds a lot of different configurations. This and the amatsu mina are two I regret not getting
