I think like it's more of a Classic design at MP size. It's a good choice if you don't have any other combiners or don't mind huge size differences but personally I'll stick with the FP/MT stuff. What we've learned so far is that going big causes a lot of problems with joints and floppiness. Joints should be designed to carry twice the weight so they only have to work half as hard. But I agree it looks good, but I've invested to much to start all over again with a new size scale.

I have trouble figuring out which of the Third-Party releases are.

Yup it seems like this will be the closest to MP scale with the TFC stuff and Mastermind Predacons close behind which is why this will be the biggest combiner so far. The Maketoys and Fansproject stuff is more Classic/Generation sized. Personally I don't mind in combined mode they still tower over Prime and I like that scale where their bigger then the Dinobots (and thus Prime) but not so big that it gets ridiculous. I am getting the Mastermind Predacons who will be larger but I see Predaking being the biggest since he is Megatrons ultimate work in combining robots in my mind.

Thanks Chen. I appreciate the information. I keep discovering I am pretty Transformers-Ignorant compared to everyone here.

This is looking pretty good! I'll probably pick this up as more of the figures become available.

It looks good but I've invested way to much in Gestalts and stuff to restart again. If I didn't have any combiners or Genesis then I would get this but it's too late for me.

Ah screw it I'll get Blast-off and if I like it I'll sell my Giant, Colossus, Intimidator, and Genesis probably at a loss. It looks like I can keep Feral Rex since it seems close enough in size.
Where's the cheapest place to get this?

Where's the cheapest place to get this? You failed ! TF Upgrader or chimungmung will probably have it for a good price. It's not listed in robotkingdom and Tfsource got it for usd 89 : tfsource.com/warbotron/wb01a/

I know lol. I love the combiners I have but I do want MP sized combiners too. Even Feral Rex will be smaller then this and I'm torn since that is a awesome figure. If I like Blast-off and get this I might keep the ones I have but I think i might have to sell them to get some much needed money.

Well just grabbed Blastoff from BBTS so we'll see if I made the right move selling my FP and MT combiners and go the Warbotron route.

Just not feeling this one. I usually don't write and post on an item I am not interest in but for some reason, I been wanting to write about how much I don't like about this Bruticus. Perhaps I am questioning myself and my taste but visually and the aesthetics of this Warbotron is not doing it for me. I don't know why but the sculpt of this Warbotron is just not doing it for me. I've watched peaugh and emgo316 review of the Blastoff figure and although they have high recommendation for it, I just can't find any love for it. On Monday, my shipment from BBTS is gonna come it. In my pile of Loot is FP M3 Intimidator, MMC Leo Dux, Bovis and Fortis. I am really excited to finally get my hands on the MMC stuff, and held off on my loot shipment until the release of Leo Dux(Razorclaw). I wanted to play around with the combine mode. Pass experience of purchasing TFC Hercules pieces has taught me that the individual pieces aren't much fun. It's much more satisfying when you get to put them together.
I am much more of a fan of Bruticus over Predaking and yet MMC design of Feral Rex (Predaking) is so impressive that I can't resist and just really want it. I can't say the same for this Warbotron.

The MMC stuff is pretty nice. I think once we get full color shots it will look more impressive. I'm hoping for more muted colors with minimal paint aps. I would have kept my FP and MT combiners if they were the same size since I do like there design.

I got Airburst yesterday, no major QC issues and I can say when this thing is complete it will be HUGE! Joints are super stiff amd the plastic feels more like a Maketoys figure then say a FP, very rigid. I say buy one, if you don't like it you can always sell it.
