Finally got a Deluxe Barricade! A bit late in the game, but got lucky and saw the only one left in local Walmart still in the box case. Has some scratches on car panel, but guess I'll have to live with that as I haven't seen this guy since June.
Got similar issues as people mentioned: Loose ankles, punch gimmick too easily triggered without pressing the button, a bit hard to stand due to the odd angles of the leg joints & not very leveled feet.
But I turned out liking it more than I've expected. And surprisingly, the ratchets on this little guy is spring loaded that has a nicer 'click' compare to lets say Ironhide's, which are just grooved plastic rubbing plastic (wears off quick). And I like how the double jointed hips let you pose him in a less 'squashed' stance and stands taller, while the shoulders let you swing the arms forward and backward a bit on posing. Love the additional ball joint on the shoulder/wheel panel, letting you move that panel around for different look. Not to mention a very nice car mode(though plastic, paint & finish sucks...but good enough for a $10 toy), and a nice Frenzy accessory. Even got hidden spikes on the feet.
With some fixes on a couple loose joints, this guy can be a pretty nice figure with some nice features. Too bad the articulation is not ideal.

I got the Best Buy 2-disc exclusive this morning. Came with 2 Robot Heroes figures and a lithograph, that looks like they used low res images to produce it.

Interesting, sounds like BestBuy Canada doesn't have the same exclusives... around here we get one of 4 randomly packed mini Titanium figures and a 32 page book. But it also costs like $36 which is $10 more than the non-exclusive edition. My friends and I crossed the street over to Futureshop and got their exclusive instead - an embossed "steelbook" packaging for teh 2-disc version. My friends chose the Autobot one but I got the Decepticon cover (because I've always liked the Decepticon symbol ever since I was a kid).

Got the Target Transforming Case with Comic DVD set. The case is pretty durable. Good thick plastic. Stands decently well on its own, since it has flip down feet that stays in place. I wouldn't get this set just for the transforming case & comic, as its more of a novelty goodie, not really a toy you can do much with. But its pretty good extra if this is the only DVD version you'll get. Plus if you buy it with the Target Exclusive Deluxe Bumblebee 2 pack toy set ($15.99 this week instead of $19.99 normally), you also get a free $5 gift card, which also transfoms into Optimus Prime LOL. Its a pretty sweet deal.

You got First Strike Optimus Prime. It's not the same colors as that figure on Hasbro Toy Shop or the second picture.

I like the toy itself but I think I like the other paint scheme than mine...or am i just seeing the other grass greener?

I got rid of all mine except Leader Prime. I'll probably get the rest of the Autobots once the "premium" series comes out, makes me glad I didn't get them the first time around. I'm skipping on all the Decpticons.

If you paid attention the box, it should have said "First Strike Optimus Prime" on the front and not just "Optimus Prime." FS Prime isn't an exclusive, just a repaint, so he's supposed to come in the same style of box. First Strike Prime's color scheme is a homage to the G1 Optimus Prime and his color scheme, so that means more red and no flames. Personally, I find it a bit more boring, but some fans really prefer that.

Actually when I observed the toy...I was thinking that some of the parts should be this color and that color... I felt the colors were 'wrong" according to the movie and the design...I was thinking that some parts should be "silver" or metal...because they are the innards of the robot... I was thinking of custom painting it...but then I realized the version that was in my mind actually exists!! I might just buy the otehr version too ;D
