And still all these robots look 100% better that the current Sentai Robots! I do miss the classic Sentai Robots designs. are u referring to this? im pretty sure u wont deny this LOl Best Sentai Robot. also, I do agree that GGG's Linergao kinda clashes with the rest of the design...that's why I prefer LinerGao 2. I LOVE the Lion crest, but...yeah...I'd be the first to switch out the Gaomachines for GFG's...except like GaoGaiGo, I'd use StealthGao 2. ...god I'm immature...

Haha. When i were a child, it took me time to get used to a train that can fly can combine with a space lion in anime. I mean GGG is so cool but that bullet train, it doesn't make any sense, it screw up everything. But first time i saw toq-oh robot, i cried alot and now i love GGG and other Brave robots more than before

Gold Actually, what happened was that pretty much everyone who got the toy was doing this, and the producers decided to make it show-accurate. ...or so I've been told.

We're getting off-topic here with the discussion of the ToQgers' Wang Liner Oh (haha!). I have to admit I do love the show for the comedy and the crazy, wacky robots but, DAYUM!, having that phallic visual in a (supposed) children's show is just downright wrong. As for GGG, the very random mix of parts that form him -- a humanoid, a lion, a stealth bomber a shinkansen and a drill machine -- throw me off as I am a fan of old school super robot designs like Combattler and Voltes. With the all the pictures now of it, I'm warming up to getting this guy. Just have to wait for Gold's trusty, rock-solid reviews

With the all the pictures now of it, I'm warming up to getting this guy. Just have to wait for Gold's trusty, rock-solid reviews OT: Japanese people are more acquainted with "sexuality" than western folks are, overall. They put it everywhere, it's in the music, the videogames, books comics movies, you name it. So having a phallic joke in a robot show probably doesn't put any Japanese off, in fact, this may be pure comedy to them, regardless of the age ofthe audience. Not OT: How is the mix of vehicles that compose GGG any less weird than the ones that made up Combattler or Voltes? Or other classic SR combiners, for that matter. Sure, the way GGG combines is a bit different, Voltes V was a "stack" of vehicles, one on top of the other. GGG's vehicles split, intersect, bend, turn, shape-shift etc. so it doesn't really look like a classic SR combination scene. I'm glad you're warming up to it though Yup, here we are, waiting for Gold to get his copy and enlighten us, hehe.

Voltes is indeed a stack of vehicles but their colors and design elements make them cohesive. Weirdest would be volt bomber since the designers had to find some sort of vehicle form for the arms. GGG's shinkansen shoulders differ from the rest of the elements in terms of the design. The other forms play off one another in their futuristic silhouettes while the bullet train isn't futuristic enough to seamlessly blend with them. That's just my take though. Other than that, GGG's still good

I remember seeing GGG with twin dolphins for legs instead of twin drill machines and other vehicle / machine combinations in several YouTube videos. Wonder if bandai will ever do those in succeeding releases.

There's already a SRC version of it, check it out. Since I doubt it will ever get SoC treatment.

I can't wait for this. I had it on PO as soon as it was available. The only GGGs I have ever owned were the old Kaiyodo ones. I have two + The Genesic GGG. I am glad they finally released something as awesome as this. SOC line has been feeling dead lately.
