i didnt watch the show but i must say this is an amazing engineered piece alot of people will go crazy for it, im not getting it honestly but its a really decent figure i guess this is the first time Bandai do a review on how to combine a robot with a real figure, i wish they did that with Combattler V i still have troubles combining him lol

No wonder. This is probably the most complicated SoC ever produced. Lots of moving bits, and during the henkei/gattai many parts swivel, split, turn, slide, bend, collapse, extend, lock...
I bet that, once I get it and try to form GaoGaiGar, it'll take me one hour minimum, and I'll remember when I complained about Daltanious' combination thinking that one was long...

What a great video from Bandai! They should backtrack and do this on all SoCs, at least the combiners

Perfect transformation, way better done than the Studio Half Eye GaoFighGar's, and for half the cost! God, please have Bandai make an SOC GaoFighGar soon!

Doesn't look too bad to me. I still say Bandai's Aquarion is the champ of headache inducing combinations/transformations. }D

I find it surprisingly similar to CM's design in terms of engineering, with added small changes where CM's came short. Like a CM's ver.3. Very smart about the Liner Gao neck lock, Stealth Gao hidden panels, and the extra shoulder joints to raise up the shoulders. Better design on GGG's neck swivel to let the head turn more. Its smart little improvements that really set Bandai apart from the rest. Great job!

Yeah... Once Gold makes his review, I'd also like to hear (if it's not too much to ask) for a "comparison" of sorts.
A "CM's GGG vs Bandai's GGG" kind of thing, pointing out differences, strengths and weaknesses of the figures when compared to each other. Would be nice.

Hmmm... I may have to break out my Ver.2 CM's GGG to compare it once I get the SOC one. }D

OMG bandai why haven't videos like these been done before for the other combiners indeed... LOL.. Incredible engineering... as usual. Now where the heck are my SOC Go Lion and Dairugger at already...

Don't forget Albegas Well, I guess Bandai went the extra mile with this one because of its complexity. They don't want their customers to break all of those neck pegs, hehe. They learned their lesson with DX Mazinger's elbows...

Yeah, since Bandai announced it and had a display model at July 2013, i think they must spent at least 2 year to develope this SOC, they tried so much and it will be a pain if their customers brake it in seconds Tried so hard to find a reason to skip Soc GGG since i plan to have a DX chogokin aquarion and Brave gokin 04 for a long long time, but this video really touched my heart. My roomate is crazy of it too and now we have to decide who will buy it since we hate to have a same thing in our personal collections. Seem that this christmas, we will end up with a bloody fight

Seem that this christmas, we will end up with a bloody fight I don't own the CM's version. Only read written reviews of it. But those came out quite some time ago. Technology and engineering have improved, So I have a feeling that this new GGG will be greatly superior to its older counterpart. Bigger. More solid as a piece, and just better overall. Don't know about the accesories compartment though, we know we're getting the Dividing Driver. But anything else? This figure will take so much space in the box anyway... GaiGar is alread pretty big. SoC sized already. Then you have Liner Gao, which is thin but long. Drill Gao is just chunky, and Stealth Gao which is HUGE. Huge guys. I wouldn't be surprised if Stealth Gao occupied a whole styro tray all by itself. And then we have the Dividing Driver, which again, is just really long. I hope Bandai gives us an accesory pack later down the line, like they did with GX-48 Big O. Just don't make it a TWE, please...

Thanks for this vid!! Love the engineering! Also, Good thing there's tip for when inserting the Linear Gao the wrong way (not lifting the head). lol.. "BROKEN". Gotta watch out for things like that. Good thing Bandai made the video understandable even if it's in Japanese. Gold

Wow. Finally got to sit down and watch that video. My draw was dropped the whole time. This is one of those videos that make you rethink ever cancelling a preorder or not ordering it.
It also made me think what could Bandai do of they got GoLion, Dairugger, Dangioh, and even Gurren Lagann for SOC treatment. This thing is so ridiculously anime it is almost comical.

Cringing at the thought of what shipping via EMS will be... If it's as big as trider g7, about 50ish US dollars to the USA.
