I like them a lot! The diecast content is proportional to the original G1 versions and the stickers are very well done given the size of the toys. The painted blue eyes on Snarl in dino mode and the blue eyes on Grimlock are a nice touch. The only real annoyance is having to add/remove Snarl and Slag's fists when you transform them, making them not exactly 100% accurate to the original design, still I guess it's not half bad. Getting Grimlock's chest plate to slide in right is also a headache sometimes. Sticking all of the puny stickers on can be a real patience-tester but I guess that's half the fun. Greattoysonline has all 3 in stock and the last two, Swoop and Sludge are supposed to be out this September from Justitoys. There was also the "G2 colors" versions of the three Dinos, with lucky draw "Santa Claus hat " blue Grimlock limited to 500 and gold Grimlock was limited to 10 pieces. tfsource.com/Reissues/WST%20Santa%20Commander/WST-Santa-Commander.htmlRed "prototype" Snarl, limited to 999 pieces with 10 "gold colored" lucky draws. tfsource.com/Reissues/WST%20Snarl%20Limited/wst-snarl-red-prototype-version.htmAnd the TF Con Toronto Green Slag limited to 500 pieces. tfsource.com/Reissues/WST%20TFCON%20Exclusive/WST-TFCON-Exclusive.htmlGold

Gold thanks for the responce. Slag and Snarl have add on fists? but Grimlock doesn't? They look pretty accurate from most of the pictures I've seen.. except I noticed for Grimlock's feet and a few other parts.. its hollow and open on the side that faces inwards.

No problem. Yes, Grimlock's fists are fixed in, like the G1 toy. Gold

interesting detail on wst Grimlock, they altered the original toy by making it possible to slide his head position while in robot mode. This is a bit of ingenuity in my opinion, and an actual improvement to the robot mode..

Thanks for the pics and links, guys! The Grimlock looks like it has most of the detail and features of the version I had as a kid... Man; I'd forgotten how much I loved that figure! I had no idea that this line existed until I saw this thread, and I have to say that I dig the smaller size- it looks like it just might be in scale with some of my larger Super-Robot toys. Looking forward to adding it to my collection. In fact, I'm tempted to pick up 2- one to leave "as-is", and one to customize to improve the articulation on the hips, shoulders, and elbows.

No problem. Yes, Grimlock's fists are fixed in, like the G1 toy. Gold I'm guessing they didn't put in sliding fists.. (that is if I recall right) because the originals had spring loaded sliding fists?

hmm I wonder why Slag wasn't done the same as grimlock...
Thanks Gold... it's been forever since I've held a dinobot.

Snarl did have the spring loaded pop out fists when you folded back his dino legs, it was Sludge who had the fold out arms.

Hurray!!! After waiting since Sept 2007(talk about delayed!) Justitoys has finally wrapped up the " World's Smallest Transformers DinoRO bots line with the recent release of Sludge and swoop. The gang's all here! Each of the WST Dinobots has the proportionate amount of diecast found in their vintage G1 counterparts. There are also optional stickers to apply. As usual, the stickers for Grimlock and Sludge's groin areas tend to scrape off when you transform them so I don't recommend attaching the stickers for that particular area for Grimlock and Sludge. The WST Dinobots were all released without their missile launchers. Justitoys did a followup and released all of the missile launchers with Swoop. They don't fire of course (the guns are too small to fit any springs in) but they do have chromed "insertable" missiles. The detail on these are very excellent. Swoop's even in toon accurate colors! But one hitch is, Swoop's chest is hard to slide apart during transformation (I had to use a small screwdriver to pry it apart!). Dinobots Transform! According the the insert in Swoop's box they're still going to release more WST, but the silouhette is a generic robot. It could be anyone. Gold

Snarl is really floppy, but Grimlock and Sludge are awesome. I have yet to get Swoop.

Do you have any pics of them with their rockets on. I just got swoop and sludge to complete the set. Most of the rocket launchers dont even fit...?

You might have to remove excess plastic/chrome so they fit.

i wish it was that simple most of the dinobots actual holes where you plug the missle launchers into are just the screw holes themselves.

I got Swoop yesterday, pretty cool, too bad his own guns and missiles won't fit, I'll need to shave the chrome down. Luckily, the weapons fit for all the other Dinobots.

These are great little robots and generally well-made. In my humble opinion, they display better without the stickers!
