Looking for a mint or near mint Combattra in Godaikin Box for my collection. I am interested in the blu box not the gold box. I am rebuilding a collection I had of super mint boxed sets. I will be displaying the box open with toy behind cello, so cello and box condition are important as well as the toy

It really isn't cheap though. The U-Combine set is identical to the Godaikin set and it is actually older, being the first Combattra set released in the U.S. by Mattel in 1978. The Godaikin set wasn't released until 1982. To find a complete U-Combine set is near impossible especially with the total outer box. I have the complete U-Combine set with all 5 boxes and the main outer box and it is super cool. But I do agree the box is not as cool as the Godaikin blue or gold window version. Anyway, good luck finding a blue box. It is important to buy what you really want

I didnt know that about combattra. I always enjoy hearing the history of these toys. I am rebuidling a Godaikin Collection which is why Im on the hunt for the particular box. I'm trying to get the first 10 all mint in box for display and right now I need Godmarz, Combattra and Gardian. Then I will move onto the Japanese box I already have the Popy Golion and Daltanious in the Japanese box so Ive got a bit of work to do. Did combattra come in a Japanese box like the Golion, Volt in Box, etc

Yes, it is the Popy Combine Box/Combine-In-Box from 1976. Major dollars, early release, and very difficult to find "mint". You will be looking at 4k+ minimum in my opinion for a top tier one. And definitely wait for the "right" one. Good luck.
And as far as your godaikin choice, blue/photo box is the best choice.

NAO? You want to expand on that a bit?
Oh and I will add that for the popy combattra, you will most likely be purchasing it from overseas. Just make sure it's from a trusted seller/reputable store, and in a non-shady country. Pick wrong and you will lose your $ in the blink of an eye.

Ive been down that road before with my first voltes V a thousand bucks gone like that from a guy I had bought from before too. The NAO is one heck of a robot made by a french company that is programmable. The price has dropped from 16k to around 8k for the academics version which still doesnt require programming knowledge for the basics but I will be learning programming to expand on what the bots capabilities are. Definately gonna go for a reskin.Ill have to fabricate a new body maybe a Mazinger Im not sure yet

Unfortuantely The toy isn't what Im looking for . Im looking for a mint box with mint toy. I mean mint shows like new box and all. I appreciate the lookout.I have also done business with KB we had an issue in the past but still a pretty reputable guy that I won't buy from again unfortunately. Gotta be very honest with what you are selling cant leave any potential for issues out of the description especially when shipping from china to the states. Returns going back with all the stipulations by ebay made it a 250 dollar loss to my pocket to return an item that wasn't as described which may have been an oversight but being in the business and a collector KB should have known to not forget to mention something that caused an issue which I paid a high premium for almost double what I would have paid here. We did try to solve the issue but the haggling over what should have been refunded put me in a position to have to either accept a lame partial refund or send it back and lose the toy and 250.00 I was so upset I even told paypal to screw off and wouldnt take his partial refund. Ok still a bad taste sorry!!
