Has anyone on RJ ever purchased a Megatron from HLJ, in which they opened the package to install an orange plug to comply with US gun laws? They are now requesting payment for Encore Megatron, and before I pay, I would like to know some members' opinions... good or bad....

I just paid for my Encore Megs too. The MP-05 I got from them b4 had the plug but was as easy as heck to pull out...I hope this one's the same.

I ordered from them when Megatron first came out. Its pretty much a yellow rubber plug that fits on the barrel hole. No glue nor adhesive, so it pulls right out. No tools required. As long as they are doing it the same way as before, you don't need to worry about it.

Not at all. Everything was in perfect shape. The only difference is that you see the piece of tape on the box flap is cut. I don't think HLJ is dumb enough to damage the box just to get the plug in. But if you ever gonna transform Megatron even once, I bet you will damage it more than anything HLJ can do for adding the plug. Be prepared to scratch some paint and stress a peg or two. ;D
