KO's are a love/hate thing with TF collectors so I made a review. I am a bit on the nerdy end when it comes to how things are manufactured so examining KO's always fascinates me. I've noticed a lot of the new MP KO's are actually popped out of different molds. There is always such a slight variation betwen them and the originals so they are not Lunchtime specials as they say. Now with the MP-10, they've actually tried to improve the original. It's not perfect but it looks the part. Pics: rocketpuncharmy.blogspot.com/2014/04/mp-10-ko-optimus-prime-convoy.htmlVideo:

I like to buy one if it didn't cost more than the official minus the trailer. The Hasbro Mp-10 Optimus only cost me 100$. This KO is selling for roughly 20-50$ more and has ugly gaps on the forearm. Even with the extra replacement parts, the gaps is still noticeable. It's a nice KO, way better than when iGear version of the downsized MP-01. But way too expensive, maybe if it was like $80 then I would of considered getting one.

It's interesting that the KO is a bit bigger than the original, I wonder if it was an attempt to counter the gorilla arms. Looks like there are gaps on the vehicle mode, particularly where the windows meet the grill, and I also noticed poor fitment on one of the knee that has a gap. It's interesting to know that the manufacturer is not just copying the mold of the original release though. All the extra paint application and the fixes are all appreciated as well. What's your thoughts on the material of the KO, Chachi?

So it's bigger than the original? Bummer! If it was of the same size, I'd be interested in buying replacement tires for him. My MP-10 has QC issues with respect to two of his rubber tires. Both are warped from the get go.

^ Just by a very little bit, and you wouldn't know the size difference unless you have the KO and the original release standing side by side. The size of the wheels seem similar, and they would probably still work as replacement.

It looks good and is a good alternative for those that can't afford the real thing. Ideally you would want a fan to buy the original and this as a option but that's just matter of opinion.
