When I make a review I will buddy, promise.=) I've been thinking about it but not sure what type of video camera to use. Your reviews are pretty sharp. What is the name and brand of the digital camera you use when doing your video reviews? Also would you mind sharing the camera brand and model, megapixel, and f-stop and aperture settings you use when doing your photo reviews? You do not have to share if you do not feel comfortable. I don't believe you, but there's no reason for discussing it further as I don't really care; just giving crap. And I don't really answer photography questions. Nothing to do with comfort or unneeded permission but rather the questions normally being uncouth. ------- Still looking for relevant help with this one. I'm sorry about offending you with regards to asking questions about your camera. If you don't feel comfortable it's cool. Also, I understand your skepticism, as it is hard to believe everything you hear or what people post on the internet. But don't you think it's a bit uncouth as well to assume people are lying to you without giving them the benefit of the doubt? Anyway, to each his own bro, to each his own. I will put up a review for the first time soon. I just need to do a bit more research and I need some more camera knowledge before doing so. You will see a review from me shortly though, I promise=)

No one's offended, and you were answered in full. Please stop with the effeminate, manufactured drama. Lmao.

Heres my boring but brutal wall of text review on my black faceoff version of this guy...
Pros Absolutely beautiful collectable figure. I love his design. Everything about him exudes quality, luxuary...its a lexus of figure lol. Cloth cape? Yes please. Tons of silky yet firm articulations, insane engineering on his legs. Except for the cross on his forearms his paint app is laser sharp. Hes little smaller and lighter then he looks but Sentinel made sure you know he has righteous amount of alloy.
Green nerd rant, an optional reading. Haha.... Packaging is as green as it gets. Super easy to open plastic tray with a one tape. No styro. The figure itself also seems very enviro friendly as well. i cant feel or smell pvc anywhere....no cheap pvc rubber used here. Although they did specify atvc pvc on his ingredient list i cant find it. no toxic smell of anykind when i opened the package...not even a trace of paint smell. Sentinel now is the gold standard in safety as far as Diecast collector toys go. Exemplary to those whoes heading the wrong direction. ET and Metaltech who just recently introduced horribly toxic styro coffin comes to mind. Why o y?
Cons Right off the back the side skirt clip fell off...his torso also came disconnected. The weapon holding hands just wouldn't go in the wrist sockets.....after several tries, i put my ultimate full force and in risk of breaking the thing to finally put it in. All the other hands go in just fine....wth. His proportion is bad but i knew that going in so.... Tiny head, skinny arms and gigantic feet. No clicky joints?...come on. Not even on shoulders nor knees?

Been on the fence about this guy for a while now. But it's on sale right now at HLJ for $55, so I can't say no! This will be my second Sentinel purchase, should look good next to Mazinakiser.

Just ordered it from HLJ and got a pretty sweet bonus with it, a Toei Illustrated shopping bag. At Total cost of $75 could not pass it up.

And thank you for the heads up. Just grabbed this guy and Dino Getter 2 at that price. Edit; Hmmm? thinking on and looking at my collection, outside of a couple of Danboards and a MechaWeGo thingy I think these are the first real Sen-Ti-Nel full blown Gokin I have picked up. I hadn't really thought about it before Most of my collection is Bandai with a decent smattering of CM's, Yamato, a few ET's and a couple of Fewture pieces. (Not in any way avoiding the brand, I just had not happened to get around to picking up the few pieces that interested me.) After listening to Kuma raving about the Sentinel stuff I am really looking forward to getting these in hand.

So My Gaiking the Knight and Dino Getter 2 came in. My first real hands on with Sen-Ti-Nel's super articulated offerings. (MAK Danboard doesn't coun't for obvious reasons.) My impressions? Mixed. Mostly positive.
For Gaiking, the articulation is amazing. And is what sells the figure. The knees and elbows. The only thing close to it is a few of the better engineered Bandai SRC's like Might Gain or Gurren Laggan. All the weird sliding panels around the joints are fascinating to mess with. metal content is ok. Not great. mainly lower legs and feet. Size is good. Around the same general ballpack as the smaller SOC's. It might be slightly taller but feels less so as it is a lankier figure with a much smaller head. Con's are it tends to shed parts. The hip skirting is horrible for that. I also had a closed left fist floating loose in the packaging that seems to have a much larger socket than the size of the wrist ball. The holding hands seemed impossible to get on and required a nerve wracking fight. It looks gorgeous, but does have some very fragile feeling areas such as the front thigh skirting. I also know some swear by Sentinel's lack of ratchets preferring friction joints. But the knees on mine are a bit looser than I generally like. Not enough to cause major stability issues. But enough to get my attention. The joints do support the weight of the figure. But they can't support the weight of the leg if held horizontally by the thighs or waist. (Normally when this is the case it is when there is a lot of weight in the lower legs. But this guy is rather light. We're not talking GaoGaiGar or Dai Guard here.) He also would have benefited from some toe jointing. he's not the most stable standing figure. Feeling a little wobbly and finicky to get settled well. I haven't bothered to split him up to look at the component "ships". Gaikings "Transformation" always struck me as a bit stupid. Ok the dragon skull torso is cool. But the flying Leg ship and the flying arm ship always seemed kind of lame.
At HLJ's $55 sale price this is a fantastic figure. The colors and sculpt really draw the eye, especially with the red cloth waist skirt. Assuming you don't lose the hip armor pieces to the carpet the moment you open the box.
As for Dino Getter 2? in Robot mode, from the waist down it's amazing. From the waist up... It's... well painted? I need to play with it some more, but initial impressions are kinda meh. Almost no articulation in the robot arms. Very floppy waist. No version of Getter 2/Liger ever stands really really well due to the ultra slim design. But this guy feels more wobbly than most.
I like them enough that I will probably grab a Getter 1 and Black Getter next week. I don't think I will complete the Dino Getter set unless I find them at insanely deep discounts.

Got mine as well and had similar issues. The hands are a pain to swap out and he keeps popping apart on me. Oddly enough, the skirt pins have yet to come out on their own. I'm really happy with it though, I've been watching this thing for over a year. My initial problem with this when it came out was that it just didn't look like a "robot". At least in the classic sense, and it was such an extreme departure from Gaiking. Once you get past the fact that this is not Gaiking the robot, it is "Gaiking The Knight", it really is a beautifully designed and striking figure. I appreciate a creative reimagining of a character. It breaks up my collection and makes it more interesting and enjoyable.
