I guess I can whip up a quick attachement gimmick for the sword so it can be hanged on the back and post it on SHAPEWAYS. Should be rather inexpensive. Anyone has a pic of the part from the original release so I can more or less get an idea of what to draw? Bro, not everything has to go to Shapeways. Post it on Tinkercad! }D

Congrts to bros who got their SKL. Cant say im not jealous. yeah, looking at Charles review which btw is awesome as always...the waist joint indeed look loose. The static poses on both SKL v2 and the Kaiser look just aweful due to very awkard body proportion. i already purchased both as they complete The brotherhood of SRC Mazingers. And They do look to be a usual super high Bandai quality figures. Its just SRC proportion striked Again with the ugliy hipjoints and etc etc....

What happened in the video? Who would NOT pop out the chest guns before attaching the front of the cape? Also, the back of the cape is compatible with the Original Mazinkaiser, but not the front (can't remove the Fire Blaster). And, folks - READ THE INSTRUCTIONS! }D

So those of you who own both which you think is better? Or pros/cons?
Pros: Bigger Size Cape attachment for Maz wings some clicks Better sculpt on Skull and pileder{also 2 part pileder} SOME OF INSTRUCTION BOOKLET IS IN ENGLISH!
Cons: Less Diecast No sword attachment pretty light..weight to size ratio is better on 1st version Not so tight joints Color scheme not as good? {up for opinions) sloppy eye paint on some No DVD LOL.

I wish I had one of the first released SKL. So I could compare it to my new SKL. Seen a few being sold online but did not pull the trigger cause I think they are a bit expensive to my liking. (which means I'm cheap ) As for the joints, some areas that I believe to be a bit weak/loose compared to other joints in my figure are the joints that are in the arm connections and the lower torso. Most notably the armor above his shoulders. (from the video of OptimusPrime SG you can see that one of the arms of his figure has already popped out). Although they are a bit weak but still they can hold a pose. I think I just got used to joints that need a bit of coaching (FORCE) to place into my desired action. FYI for those who have not noticed, there is a bit of plastic in the lower torso that I think is used to deter scratches while packaged. I just noticed mine because it shined when I was inspecting/checking the joints. I love the ratchet elbows which I think is a first in my collection. Both elbows and knees have this kinda soft, high click count ratchet. can confirm that figure only weighs 212 and with accessories weigh in at 274.

Another thing, mine does not have the peg for hanging the KILLER sword at SKL's back (unlike the first release). Uh, that's the part I hated to read... TMZ, any ideas how to customize something to hang it on his back? Almost done. Will be printing out the first prototype in a few minutes. }D

I would pay big respect to Bandai if they release the SKL wings along with the long awaited Mazinger weapon set #2. Just wishing!

LOL... I hope they do, because the wings, while doable, will still be pretty hard to make. }D

First attempt... not tight enough in the sword. Have to make it tighter so the sword stays put. May cause some paint rubbin' on the sword thou... Also, the angle in which the sword sits may have to be adjusted as well. }D
