Just got mine today and am happy to report that the qc is relatively perfect from first inspection. I haven't transformed him yet for fear of scuffing the paint on the black lion's legs. What prevents it from being perfect are the minor paint blemishes on the chest of the black lion and on the right side of the yellow lion's head. Apart from that, this thing rocks! I'd say it's really close to being SOC quality. Really happy that I got it. Now, the challenge is to keep the black lion's legs unscuffed when combining it with the blue and yellow lion Forgot to mention that it didn't come with any stickers. Edit: found another QC issue. The red part of the chest is imbedded further into the body on one side than the other. Not a deal breaker though.

So I finally opened up my KoB, and overall it's a pretty amazing figure! The only two av issues I had were with the yellow lion leg and with the gold horns on the black lion being very floppy.
Other than that I'm very happy!

So I might have to eat my words. I transformed it for the first time last night and noticed that the rotational joint above the elbow joint on the red lion won't budge. I also noticed that the seam between the two hallves of the red lion's rear body is starting to split. It might be due to me forcing the rotational joint to move.
Does anyone know who to contact for this? I noticed a few people contacted the manufacturer to try to get replacements. Would anyone know who I should contact to try to get the red lion replaced?

ok this is Very common and mine was like that,HOLD tightly the grey halves togethr of the elbow joint with one hand while force twisting the red lion waist, push force into it as you turn toward the center,it will move!!! dont worry its just the paint thickness,i do this support turn every time i twist the waist, its not broken, just needs a solid twisting,it will give,it wont really get easier to turn, but once you get it to the first time, you will be able to turn it,IMPORTANT hold the grey halves together of the elbow while turning waist or they will break!

I tried your method but it still won't budge. I'll try again tomorrow. I hope I can break the paint fuse without breaking the red lion itself

Hey could someone pm me T-man's working email? I tried the original address to let him know about the yellow lion leg issue but it's been a few days and no response.

silently taking notes till mine arrive Thanks Baron. I tried your method but it still won't budge. I'll try again tomorrow. I hope I can break the paint fuse without breaking the red lion itself Boy do I feel like an idiot. I was trying to move what I thought was a joint that would let the arm swivel in like a bicep swivel, but there is no such thing on this figure. So glad that I didn't break the arm!!! So, subtracting that from my very short list of qc issues, this thing rocks. Parts lock in tight, joints are tight. I did manage to scrape some chrome paint from where the black lion chrome legs insert into the blue and yellow lions. I applied some tape to the areas to hopefully prevent further scratching.

Thanks Baron, I'm aware of the forearm swivel. I just thought that it also swiveled above the elbow, if that makes any sense. I feel so dumb
