What the hell are they sniffing at Bandai? I mean it's a pre-order.....guaranteed sales.. Why the hell turn them down and produce limited quantity??

Don't know. I honestly don't know. But it's still early, Goldy won't come out till July. There will be more pre-order sessions.
I think.

Goldimarg GX-69 is only $136 USD at the current exchange rate. Mazinger Z 40th Anniversary was about $70 or $80, and it doesn't transform at all. I don't think the GX-69 is too much overpriced. If you look at it as an accessory, then maybe. But if you look at it as a transforming SOC figure, then the price seems about right. }D

I still fail to understand how some people are calling Goldymarg an accessory when it is a sentient transforming robot that happens to combine to GGG's arm, and provides a weapon to boot.

Preprogramming. You have valid points about what Goldymarg is but a lot of us who have seen the cartoon only see him as a Final attack weapon. I guess i wouldn't see him as this if I didn't buy the DVD's. c",)

(^.^') It's precisely because I've seen the anime that I am aware that Goldy has a character of his own and can function by himself, independent from GGG. If I hadn't seen the show, I would be more likely to see Goldy as a simple add-on that happened to have a robot mode.

Wasn't there some sort of dock strike which affected imported goods being delayed?

There was and it's been resolved but the backlog will take months to unwind.

My US release just shipped this past saturday Had I not ordered and paid for the GX-69 already from A-E, I would've gone with BBTS. My SOC GGG is stored away, so waiting for the SOC Goldymarg a few extra months would not bother me one bit. }D

Anime-Island has it for pre-order @ $126 for those of you that don't mind waiting a month or two after BBTS to get your item. For some reason their shipping options seem to be quite expensive. The cheapest option to ship to me is just under $20 for Fedex Smartpost but I suppose if you don't mind waiting then it's still cheaper than BBTS.
