the 7th.. right on target }| Hahaha, oh my sides I know that face.. yeah, right on target. One year after what HL Pro first told the collecting community. This figure has been delayed, all in all, by 1 year. I'm just happy to have pre-ordered it when it was practically out already (after Chachi's review) so I knew I wouldn't have to wait for long. But all the people who POed this months ago? Or even back in early 2014? I'd hate to know how they feel by now..

contact Lat42 and ask about your order.. it will ship in 10 days Asked. They said the ship arrived today, they'll have their copies shortly, end of next week. Let's add 2-3 days (optimistically) for my order to be sent to me and.. yeah, around the 7th-8th of July I should have mine. Not bad I'll post some pics once I get it. Im talking about this post, and pre oders only opened a few months back .. same with the official release date besides pre orders don't have anything to do with the manufacturer that's the vendors that do that crap. .. it got pushed back six months, that's common it happens quite a bit but you usually don't hear about it.

Yeah, it's arriving right on time for me, based on what the retailer said. True. In another forum, one person pre-ordered this figure months and months ago, 2014 if I'm not wrong. And.. somehow the PO was just a bit above 100 euros at the time..? I don't know. I just know that I waited as long as possible and maybe I did the right thing. And now, we wait.

I don't know anything about pre-orders, that's a vendor thing.. six months back I don't think any pre orders were offered. They were just going to release it cold, then they delayed it bc Japan responded real well and the distributors wanted more of them. It took time to produce the additional units and because of that, they went back and made some improvements on the original Flying Tiger surface and paint.
All this "it came late" stuff comes from this thread maybe 10-12 months back when they leaked the proposal for Gattiger very early, then they delayed the actual release by six months so more could be made. The general public didn't know about this figure until recently. Maybe only a few hundred guys even knew about it until a few months ago when the distributors started promoting them.

Finally here guys and I just checked it for 5 minutes before putting it back in the box, I'll examine it in more detail this weekend pics included! My impressions so far: - cardboard is a bit thin, could've been thicker, but the boxart is beautiful. Princess Telonna wins the title of "best 70's robot anime girl", hehe. - everything comes wrapped in plastic baggies, which is nice. - the metallic finish of the Silver version is fabulous, very nice-looking, I'm so happy it doesn't look weird or unfitting. - paint application is not flawless, but there are no major imperfections and practically no scratches on the metallic parts, so I'm happy with it. - face and hands are well detailed. - Roboizer is decently hefty. Not quite as heavy as a GX-01, but it feels like a diecast figure when you hold it. - the spazer, on the other hand, is so heavy that I had trouble taking it out of the tray, I almost dented the styrofoam while doing so.. with the rounded ends, hehe. Loads of metal there.

Will do, sir One thing I forgot to mention before was that, that issue with the hand banging on the side of the leg and leaving red marks? That Chachi had? Yeah, I have it too. But I don't have car polish in my house, could you guys recommend any other sort of product I could use to rub the marks off?

But I don't have car polish in my house, could you guys recommend any other sort of product I could use to rub the marks off? you def need a polish of sorts a light abrasive car wax should do,do not use rubbing compound it will scratch it up.invest in some car wax its good for your figures paint, alot of mine are waxed, especially chrome.A carnauba wax is good to protect but wont remove teh red paint, youll need a regular car wax like turtle wax and just keep going over it.I wouldnt use anything too abrasive.

Yeah dont use straight up compound unless you are gentle with it (dont know how thick paint is). and follow up with a wax and buff, polish works best and is gentler and not as abrasive. Ok, I'll buy some car wax in the future (along with some more gokin maintenance stuff), thanks for the pieces of advice.
That means, I'll do my photoshoot with "lil' smudgie" on the left lap, hehe. No big deal.

it may just come off with some water and a piece of wool..

Absolutely do not use wool on paint unless you like surface scratches on your expensive gokins.

I could try water, rubbing with my fingertips. Even if unsuccessful, I doubt I'd damage the paint that way.

Yeah I do. It's an eyeglass cleaning microfiber cloth actually, but it could do the trick. Shall I try with that one?
