I will confess to not knowing the entire background of what has led to this e-drama here but, I will say this: Having collected expensive "action figures" for almost 20 years now, to get this worked up and angry about them, is nuts. To add to that, we are all adults and all of us have careers and normal jobs and families. Without crossing to ghey the other whey, let's just e-hug it out and shake hands? Really...we're arguing about action figures. It's as stupid as people who think owning a brand of cellphone (i.e. Apple) makes them better than the average person...seriously, a cellphone!??

Yumcha, I've always said the same thing - these are toys! No need to get angry about toys! What I am disgusted with, is the few members that are quick to get personal just because my opinion is different than theirs. I collect a lot of stuff, and not just keep the stuff in boxes or displays. I love to take stuff apart and see how it is made, how it works. I like to push these figures to their limit, and try to make them better. So, when I post about a figure that I have, I know very well what I'm posting about. For someone to turn around and get into a heated disagreement with me, without even having the discussed item, and then start insulting me, it is totally wrong and should never be allowed. We can agree to disagree, as it makes no difference to me - but don't insult me. }D

Opinions are just opinions...not facts. Here's hoping we can move on and continue to have good conversations and debates about our nutbar hobby.

Well, mine is on the way (Chrome version), but there is already a problem with the conception ?
maybe this figure was not worth the years waiting, the money and all the "discussions"...
maybe my last HLPro purchase...

chachi reviewed gattaiger and he said it was good.
everything has its own problems, we can even find issues in mighty bandai but the sky isn't falling there now is it? even the fewture stuff that's over twice the price of gattaiger has design and qc issues. but people still buy it and enjoy it.
anything can be nitpicked to death and nothing is perfect but I will trust the word of an expert like chachi when he says that he liked it. did he find problems? absolutely. but very few things are completely perfect.

most reviewers only focus on how the figure is painted, stands up in poses, and how many accessories he comes with. but only two reviewers put the figures to the test. only optimusprimesg and themazingerz go further into how good the figures are. the other peoples reviews are pretty, but I trust optimusprimesg and themazingerz more before I buy them.

KK, Thanks, but I don't do reviews. I've done two or three max in all of my years collecting. But when I do one, I like to show how good the figure is. Not really focused on paint QC, or gimmicks. IMO, Gold's reviews are the most entertaining and informative, closely followed by Chachi's and JoshB. Optimusprimesg's reviews are great for those who want to see the limits of the figures - even when sometimes they make me cringe. LOL I don't use reviews to base my purchases on. Nope, I use them to see what I should NOT do with my figures, and keep them "undamaged". }D

lol since when is tmz an expert reviewer? you guys are hilarious. why do you have to be so negative all the time? do you have anything positive to share? you think comments like that are funny? they're not.

when i started this hobby again i was depending on the reviews so much specially optimusprimesg (Charles) now i only watch reviews to know more about articulation and how to move the joints safely also how to combine a robot if its a combiner (GX-50 Combattler is a huge pain to lock in lol) my point is with time you know what exactly you like and want

A lot of work goes into writing a toy review. It's not a tedious job, but it does take a thought process. lol By human nature, we're initially overwhelmed by the joy of receiving a new toy, especially if the toy happens to be a favorite robot character. Sometimes its difficult to separate that element when trying to write an unbiased review of the toy. I have often encountered that situation years ago when I was doing my Toyopsies about new toys I had acquired. Those reviews are so old they're buried way back in old threads, and many of you who have read my Toyopsies could see I was more excited about the toy even though I'd go through its Pros and Cons thoroughly. It's the same as being a News reporter, reporting on a news article without letting any personal connections or emotions interfere with the subject matter of the news article. When I read toy reviews, I'm inclined to look for details about the functionality and design specs of the toy. Certain aspects of the toy such as Paint apps and Product Packaging already speak for themselves... we already know, and can see, that the toy looks visually beautiful and the Box art is obviously awesome. So, we dig deeper into what makes the toy function in terms of design and posing abilities, attachments, accessories, limitations, By now it becomes a science project. lol But, hey, when you collect something you'd wanna look under the hood to make sure your item is in top-notch QC, right! By going that intensively into a toy, it reminds us that every individual unit coming from its toy line may or may not have its own flaws... You can have a thousand of these Gattaigers, and each one may or may not have some form of slight imperfection. Someone may have received a good unit with no imperfections, that is good. Someone else may have received a unit with a flaw, it's good to discuss it. If several people receive their units with similar flaws, then it's a Heads-Up to let us know there is something wrong with those several units and so it's possible that other units in that line may be affected as well. In any collection community, This is why toy reviews are helpful. A defective toy unit might slip by the QC inspection at the factory, but it will never slip by the QC inspection of the customer. zozo-mag

very well put Mage.
many a times, i rely on my bros reviews here to seal the deal on the toys that are im on the fense about. other times, some reviews actually sell the toys i never really intended to buy.... yet, other times, it makes me smugg knowing that i made a good purchasing decision viewing reviews that i agree with. most reviews are also very entertaining. i savor it like A Sunday newspaper. and i really really appreciate reviews and very thankful to reviewers who spent the time and the effort.
all in all, any and all reviews are welcome and very important.

Thank you S-Gokin for this very good idea. Please, I encourage you to separate things like pros do and/or adults. Keep this topic dedicated to the ONLY Gattaiger toy released recently (or maybe the only one ?...). I am still on the fence to get it because of the money (like all of us) and allmost because of the hesitation between silver and chrome version. I am not sure Bandai will ever release this Character as a SOC figure and/or as a SRC. Even size is a bit little for my SOCs, it's ok to me and the set looks rich in term of options (a SPACER !!!). C'mon guys, bring reviews, pictures, comparo !!!!
