From the ongoing Wonderfest Govarian It has 3 modes? I have zero knowledge about this character, other than it's one of Go Nagai's creations. Pic credits to Taghobby.com Gold

Yeah, it is pretty crowded, just like the Mazinkaiser, the Goshogun, and their Gurren Lagann. But it is a changer, so I guess the weird articulation and extra stuff was sort of needed. Just like the Mazinkaiser, I will do my best to get it. This would be a good one for the SOC line, like Dangard Ace. Actually, there are two other hero robots in this anime. Would be great if all three saw the light of day. }D

Gold,
Govarian does transform into a space ship. And the ship transformation is that simple. I do not know where you get the triple changer from.
As for the rifle, alough it is on the ship and was also part on the original toy, it was never used in the anime. As a matter of fact, the only weapon used was a sword in one episode. It was a cool looking sword, which I hope it is added to this toy.
There was also a ship, that turned into Govarian's armor we which I also hope that is added to the toy.
As for the Transformers & Gundam references made by other members, I watched the entire anime. And guess what, it sucked. The anime clearly tried to be Transformers, Gundam, and even Macross during the last epidodes. So I can dig Sen-Ti-Nel's take on it.
I like this modern rendition of Govarian, and I am sure going to add it into my collection to be displayed alongside my original Poem toy.

I think I will wait on the finish product, really are to tell if adding some color and more info on what the 3rd transformation info is and how much or little diecast there will be needs to be weighed in before I can decide Still good to see another company go down the obscure paths of bots that have been ignored by others for a while now.

Ah, I meant it has 3 modes, going by what's written on the poster. Guess the words "triple changer" were misleading, my bad . So the unseen 3rd image is actually an armor add on then? Lol... I would've never even heard about this fella, if it wasn't for that "Go Nagai Super Robots team up" animated short film from a decade ago. Gold

From the poster it does not look that it is wearing the armor. All I know is that from the anime it only had two modes of transformation: robot and spaceship.

The figure looks a bit "busy" and "crowded". I'm hoping that adding color will clean alot of that up. I'm really not a fan of some of Fewture's more stylized pieces and designs.

I rather like it, Govarion was already weird with its mazinger-like head with voltes/gundam style limbs i think the panel lines and such only add to the origjnals unique character.
As blasphemous as this might sound I'd rather like to see this figure have an alternate head/hidden face based on what Go Nagai might have given it had he not been told by knack productions to give it a mazinger style head (provided that rumour is true of course.)

The last post you shared in June shows it as part of this line. Regardless, said line is dookie and I'm out.

Tiny little thing. Are those actual pictures? Because they almost look like 3d renders?
