Glad someone started a thread for this. For all the flaws it has, it's still one of my most favorite pieces to look at. Had it only been produced at a higher quality factory, it would seriously get my vote for 3P figure of the year.

Nice! Did you change out the original shoulders with the updated ones? Also, what size Decepticon logo do you have on him? I'm waiting for my reprolabels to arrive but I noticed it has the ugly chest design from the G1 toy. If it's one piece, I'm going to cut that part off.

Nope, I haven't used the new shoulder sockets. Been meaning to but got lazy. The left arm holds up fine in any pose. The new socket give it less outward range. But it won't pop off. The right arm, I used nail polish, it able to hold the weight of the cannon no problem. That one I do want to change out cause, over time, the polish wears down and the arm will loosen up. I don't know the exact size of the decepticon label. It's the Oceans rub on decal. Its permanent, and not a sticker. Give it that painted on look. Only thing I don't like about it is that there is an excess amount of borders on these decal. It's clear backing but under certain lighting, could still see the clear backing.

I see. Already did his shoulders before I even transformed him. Really simple and took about 5 minutes. Where did you order the Ocean Design labels? I noticed BBTS has them but just preorders.

I ordered them from Aliexpress from the seller Uncle Billy. I think eBay has them too. Probably a little cheaper on eBay. $15 plus like 5$ shipping, close to about a $1 per label from where I got them. BBTS when they do get their stock in is a lot cheaper. One caution on these rub decal, pretty hard to remove once it's on the surface. Reprolabel clear sticker gives a similar look too. But I think the best one I've seen is the water slide decal that was cleanly trimmed. That really gives it the painted on look.

Water decals are top.... Wonder how that kind of products are efficient : www.decalpaper.com/Decal printers are not cheap... Someday, maybe... I am waiting MT version to see what Meg I will get... Apollyon has a good global design even some proportions need to be refined. (that altmode is not an easy one)

anyone else having issues with Apollyon's ankles? Mines seem real loose, and I haven't even transformed him yet. Cant hold a decent standing pose, tilts back.
If anyone has any pointers, I'm all ears.
Thanks

Have you tried the usual stuff like tightening screws and if that doesn't work, clear nail polish or future polish?

Yup mine can't stand securely, the ankles were weak from the begining along with the arms. I put in the replacment ball sockets in the arm and they were way to tight. Even standing straight mine leans to one side, I will say the idea of Apollyon was good but the execution was subpar and I will most likely never buy another Xtransbot figure again. That MT Megatron has me very interested.
You can try to use the back leg panels as extra braces but it doesn't work that well.

Thanks for the help guys. The future polish would work, except the ankles are on a thin rocking joint secured by a tiny pin. I've tried everything and I just gave up.
I agree with Chen. Although a good idea, the engineering isn't the best. How they made the ankle joint that tiny....SMH
Here's to hoping Takara will release a Megs Ver2.0

I see. Well all I can suggest right now is some super glue. Good luck!
