ok jay, I went back and looked at both 52 and 53.. Hlpro got it right.. in 90% of the shots that have grendy and Gori together, you see that they are actually the same size but at the end of 53 there is the climax scene where gori has grendy in a headlock and Gori was drawn to be about twice the size of Grendy. I think this was done just for dramatic effect to make it look like Gori was winning but grendy flips backwards and kicks Gori off of him then they eventually run at each other and Grendy kills Gori with the double Harkken.. at that moment you see that Gori is back to his normal size .. you can see in the opening scene where grendy first meets Gori and Gori rips his arm off , just by the scale of the hands and arms and all that, plus an establishing shot, that Gori and Grendy are about the same height but Gori is real stocky compared to Grendy (in general)

i did notice that also Gettershadow. he was the same size then when he was wrestling him at the end of the episode he was massively bigger than him lol. re: posting pics, its a pain in the ass but what i do is upload first to imgur. then i find the link of what i uploaded, open it in the browser, then get the link for the .jpg itself. finally i put the jpg link into the [ img src = " LINK " ] brackets like that, just remove the spaces. its a ton of steps. but it may be more difficult for me as i only post thru my phone.

just watched his episodes. wow he was tough. those guys couldve finally killed flees but they threw it all away because of greed lol stupid! and yeah. he was quite a bit bigger than grendy. so im not sure about the scale of this actually King Gori was the only robot who kick Grendizer a$$ he even broke his arm (the first major damage Grendizer took in the whole anime) there were many enemies who could defeat Grendizer but betrayal played a key role in saving Grendizer if you didn't watch i highly recommend that you watch it its very entertaining and full with feelings

I agree, I think Grendizer is the best followed by Getter Bobo G... I like G better than the first Getter Robo actually. but YOU GOT to watch Grendy at least, it sets the benchmark high.

hand drawn has a lot more "feel" and atmosphere to it.. Go Nagai stuff ripped off a lot of Marvel Comics concepts but the morality tales were a lot clearer .. there is almost a "religious fable" or mythic quality to them. Grendizer is actually a "Superman" re-boot but with big robots. ha

they probably all were but I see more if it in Grendizer. A young alien from another planet must flee his destroyed world and he goes to earth and his adopted by a human father, he hides his identity but has great powers, when he is needed he quickly changes into his TRUE SELF and wears his real clothes and goes out to save the planet.
Superman in a way could be said to be inspired by Christianity.. but it was a American Jewish guy that came up with that one.. both superman and his father came from "the heavens", they both had the name "EL" in their names.. like "El Shaddai" the Father of the Canaanite Gods pantheon... "son of a god, savoir of mankind" kind of thing.. this goes all the way back to Hercules and Thor.. same basic story. They are basically "alternative religious mythos" that is why we remember them..
