Apart from the reissued Daltanious coming later this year, apparently there are also reissues of SOC Ideon and SOC GX-04 King of Space currently out in Hong Kong? I don't know how true but they seem to be rolling out right now.
Anyone care to confirm?

if they're already rolling out, isn't it strange that there haven't been any preorders in the usual sites?
id like an ideon for retail thats for sure.

Rolling out in Hong Kong? I hate to ask this, but are we sure they are real? I mainly ask because the GX04 seems odd. They have the SRC version still in the pipeline. While I fully expect a new Release of the SOC Grendizer from Bandai, I would not expect it until stocks diminish on the SRC. Maz, Great Maz and Grendy are their entry points. They like to always keep some version of them available. But they don't really overlap them too much unless at wildly differing price points and offerings (i.e. SRC vs SOC DX). The "King of Space" tag also raises red flags. It reeks of "King of Beasts" and similar ways to get around naming IP.

hmmmm this is the 2nd time the GX-04S get a reissue, but we have the SRC which is doing really good
is the SOC line going to be just for reissues ? if thats the case i want Daimos even if they didn't update it i want one, the prices atm are insane

The SOC line has always been about reuse/reissues. We just tend to ignore those parts of it. How many SOC's were Evangelion recolors? Or recolors of the Mazinger Fembot body?
I think we will see a Daimos sooner rather than later. I'm surprised it has not shown up yet.

GX-04S again? That's good news for a lot of people considering the rather high scalper-pricing on it right now. Not really a fan of SOC Ideon, but it would be neat if it's a bit more affordable. I think it was part of the TN-2013(?) display with the stupid new stands. Alongside GX-50 Combattler and GX-43 Daimos. Most of the SOCs that got displayed were eventually reissued or something, I think. Anyone still has a pics of those from the TN-2013 event? Wish they re-do GX-41 Raideen in regular-colors and with tighter/better joints and stuff this time. edit: found a pic of it from nation.tamashii.jp/archives/cat_1154146.html. circled Ideon and Gunbuster display in green: Attachment Deletededit2: found better pics of the SOCs displayed at TN-2013 at mecha-guy's blog: mecha-guy.blogspot.com/2013/10/bandai-soul-of-chogokin-super-chogokin.htmlThe SOCs that got reissued after TN-2013 (some w/recolors) are Gunbuster, Voltes V, Daltanious, and Daitarn. Even GX-01R+ Mazinger. I think God Mars was a silent reissue or something, or maybe it was just old stock getting resold. Now we got this news of Ideon getting reissued this time, which was also displayed at TN-2013.

God Mars and Zambot 3 both saw more units in the channel, not sure if it was a repop or found stock. Trider G7 too. And I believe the new version of Combatler V was somewhere right around then?
Those are sort of interesting stands. I like the spotlights similar to the SOC DX cases. I hate those scaffolds that are in front of the figs though.

Could it be that it is not an official reissue, just rolling out the stagnant stocks from the warehouses, hence, no preorder or announcements at the usual retailers?

Stagnant stocks does seem more plausible. All I've heard is that they're popping up here and there suddenly in some Hong Kong Shops. I remember a year or so back back Ideon was selling at a really, really low price at the HK toycon. Gold

If this is true, hope they fix the shoulder issue with Ideon. Well, did they fix the hand issue with Gunbuster?

The articulated hands have the same issue as Ideon's shoulders; the plastic holes in the knuckles are too small for the rivet that holds them together.
One of mine's already broken off.

Bandai really should adress defects on these re releases....
They should atleast include a black and white instruction page showing how to hold it correctly......" Sarcasm"

I think at this point Daimos is the most requested re-issue by a wide margin. I can't see Bandai avoiding him for too long, unless they are redoing tooling.
I can see GX02, GX04, GX06, GX13, GX18-19-20, GX39, GX40 GX41( although we can all hope and pray for an entirely new figure rather than a reissue there), GX43, GX60 and GX62 as the likely candidates to be prominent in the re-issue queue.
