GX-73 = Great Mazinger GX-74 = Getter Robo GX-75 = Grendizer? because 1975? one can hope haha. There doesn't seem to be a problem there. You can see the numbering and name on the Dengeki Hobby link. hobby.dengeki.com/event/281424/

Id vote for GX 75 Grendizer. I dont own SOC Grendizer and this would be a great way to pickone up.

That DaiShogun needs to be SOC, and NOT SHF!!
Come on Bandai, Its more of a robot and less of a fleshy humanoid.... Please dont let me down!!

are we sure about this ? because in most cases after Mazinger z come Great Mazinger not any other robot They had a Great Maz on display as well. It's probably just a matter of which comes out first. You're likely assuming a pattern or tradition where there is none. It's just observer error. They likely often develop Maz Z and Great Maz back to back as they share certain design elements and aesthetics and reference source materials so it is easy for the same design and production teams to do them side by side. Things like they use the same color pallets for paint and plastic, which can factor into factory scheduling. But there is no business reason to have one follow the other in some ritualistic way. There can easily be a release between them. It all depends on how the production scheduling works out.

GX-73 is Great Mazinger and GX-74 is Getter Robo. That should also be the release order.

They may. We have seen plenty of times where release order gets flipped. It's just a matter of factory capacity and scheduling. Getter may require less factory time or fewer factories, or may have had a better matching window to schedule the run in. Or it may simply be a smaller run. Have they formally announced the Great Mazinger and given it a release date or window?

You all are talking about old news and it's boring. What you should be asking yourselves is this:
When will Bandai release their non-transforming anime-accurate super-poseable "Sunrise Classics" SOC version of Zambot 3?
