I really like this too.
That's different but I'm still overdosed on Mazinger Z. My God there are so many different versions of him.

Something bugs me about the look of it. Almost as if it's "too clean" to be battle damaged. The weathering looks kinda lame and there are no scratches on it. It's still very shiny and new looking. Hard to express, but I'd compare it to Three Zero's work. They set the bar in terms of weathering and damage paint apps.

i really dont get why Bandai wont release a damage parts for the DX Mazinger and DX Great Mazinger Indeed. Considering how much Bandai love to release accessory packs, it's strange that they haven't made that one. I mean, even Fewture made a "damage pack" for their Getter 1. It would even give them a reason to sell us a second, damaged scrander, or at least a set of damaged wings. I don't really mind the shiny finish (though I'd prefer matte paint), but the weathering does look way too "airbrushed on". All those cracked and shattered parts look great, but they'd look better with a better weathering job. Though it's a bit unfair to compare anyone to Three A / Three Zero. They're just in a whole different league in that department (considering they're mass produced figures and not one-off customs). Just like Sentinel with articulations. If those two ever start working together on joint projects... I will have to quit this hobby. The temptation and the price will be way too high for me.

How does King Arts quality compare to SOC? I love the battle damage look. The three zero version is spectacular but I understand it has has no die-cast content. Not sure if $350 is worth that. Is there a pre-order on the King Arts? Any idea about cost?

Is this the first time King Arts is stepping into the classic robot arena? Everything I have seen from them in the past is mainly Avengers/Iron Man stuff.

I bought King Arts Igor... One of his arm would fall off during minimal turn.... It was a primitive ball and socket joint to hold a massive dicast arm. Returned it as a defect to awesome BBTS for a full refund. That does it for me. I'll wait for a review as I have no experience with the company. I do like the look of it though. Mazinger is king and there is no shortage of his likeness anywhere!!

Sorry guys, it wasnt King Arts Igor...but it was Comicave Igor that had a faulty shoulder joints. My bad, dont want to accused the wrong company.
Please disregard what i said about King Arts, judge and jury is still out there for quality of their product. Comicave on the other hand, stay away from them if you love me,

It's hitting #1 in sales at AmiAmi......... in its prosepective catagory of course, but still. That's impressive.
Risking a sellout, I'd wait for the review... Especially if its purchased outside of U.S.
