Looks impressive, but from what I'm seeing, there's going to be some sort of parts-forming involved.

nice.. im curious about the tranformation though.. hope we get more pics or info.. I'm sure it is mostly parts forming, similar to their Dynamite Action series. While it does say lots of die cast, you can still see a lot of their usual Magnamatic joints throughout. Such as the shoulders of the head robot. Transformation looks like "Take the Head From Robot 1, the Torso from Robot 2 and the legs from Robot 3" although there may be some subtler things going on there. Granted I don't know that you could do the robot without some parts forming. I mean it's a parts forming Robot, isn't it? A kind of Getter inspired thing? Huge parts of the robot just disappeared via anime magic.

yes.. knowing that ET is a parts-forming freak company.. actually I want to know how extensive at parts-forming ET will this pull off.. moreso that this is the initial figure in thier so-called new line.. and its an expensive product.. maybe they have some engineering marvel to show us in thier entry to diecast territory hehe..

ET is generally very very good at sculpt and paint. "Engineering Marvel" is not typically their strong suit. I think their only real attempt at a transformation was the VF2SS Valkyrie II from Marcos's2. Which was a mess.

Which was a mess. like i said this is a new line... so i expect some improvements.. not just what materials they will use.. but also new gimmicks. with upgraded price bracket.. im sure these guys at ET knew the competition and are not "living in a cave with a bunch of scraps" and more than capable.. (and yes ofcourse.. theyre not Tony Sta..eer Bandai )

I'll wait for reviews. Their laserion was expensive as well and that toy I put back in its box after handling it one time.

With ET I have found that the lower cost figures blow me away. Babel II Poseidon and Braiger Are fantastic.. Albegas and Laserion leave me cold.

Got this in the mail yesterday:
I guess because Fewture is releasing their EX Gokin version? Kind of bummer as I prefer the 70's styling to Fewture's updated design style.

I'm wondering if the accounting department realized that somebody made a major oops in calculating costs on this thing. $221 is what they have been pricing similarly sized plastic robots with no actual engineering to them at. Someone may have discovered "Holy CRP! We have no profit margin on this thing! Quick pull the plug!"
