This is fantastic news for fans of bots and Lego (such as yours truly here).
I'm pleasantly surprised Lego actually got the rights to do Voltron.

Hope they keep it true to d69's design; the Lego Group has a propensity to modify the build (due to mould availability and what not), though not always for the better.

It's going to take a while before it's officially released, but hell yeah, I'll wait!
