Damn....
Typhoon Kim is a stickler for details.
He is known to dump massive amount of finished production due to not meeting his level of quality...i just hope that's the case. Can't say I'm not disappointed. Not going to lie.
I might need to have BBTS ship my SOC Pacific to hold me over...I'm jonesing for diecast robot.

Few news bits I found out from 5Pro Naver Cafe... 1. 5Pro won’t be participating TRU Korea Gokin series going forward... 2. 5Pro will consider Getter 2 AND 3 ( Carbotix I assume) depending on the sales of this Getter 1...so all of us Getter fans who always wanted Getter 2 and 3, this is our call....(Just saying) 3. Also Typhoon says he hasn’t,t given up on Tetsujin(?) www.gokin.it/forum/viewtopic.php?f=214&t=75664. ( Shin Getter 1 is still in development.) Carbotix Black Getter preorder is coming up shortly. Bumping some info I posted months ago..I don5 know how the sale is on Carbotix Getter 1 is but considering it's still widely available and the upcoming SOC DC Getter 2 &3, I AM really worried about possibility of Carbotix Getter 2 and 3..

UPDATE: South Korean bros are getting theirs and no QC issues!!(yet)
Here are some key points from one written review I read and impression 8 got after viewing his photos at 5Pro Naver Cafe
It has the heft at 550g. One bro is reporting af least, Lower legs and bottom of feet are diecast. I will confirm that and see if I can find more when I get my copy. Comes in styro coffin..
In one comparo photo shot, This guy makes Sentinel Shin Getter down right skinny...as he should, as big as he is.
Like the first Carbotix, 5Pro looks to sacrificed articulation for purity of sculpt, giving it a statuesque appearance. Sculpt looks fantastic, I wish the lower legs were just tiny bit longer.
Some notes on articulation:
1Limited back and forth hip movement. ( the kicking pose) 2there is a Chest crunch. 3Waist can rotate well but looks awkward at extreme angle due to the sculpt... 4The Head articulation is well beyond Bandai...full flying tilt! A+! The head and neck connector sculpt looks nice and natural. Along with ankles, This is an area where lot of companies seems to have trouble with. None of that here...at least to me.(to me, ggg) 5elbows, shoulders and knees looks to be 90 degree. According to him, Elbows has clicky. 6.excellent feet articulation!
Personally(to me, ggg) Not a fan of this Cape though...the cloth material looks too thin and so it looks too wrinkly? Kinda Looks like a rain coat or umbrella material on him.. . Sentinel one looks more natural imho. But The led gimmick and the foldout gun gimmick looks good as expected.
From the provided photos, Color and the paint app looks fantastic! Typical 5Pro goodness. Ac cording to the reviewer, The finish looks alomost like a resin piece would.
One of the poster who sounds tobe one of the staff at 5ProBlitz, wrote that everyone at 5 ProBlitz really tried hard to get this out.

I hope they didn't sacrifice the articulations TOO much, though. If I wanted a statue, I would have bought Medicom's VCD.

Yeah I heard that.
The reviewer said it was an improvement over Astroganger.
The poses in his photos were indeed improvement over Astro.

Not really worried. If we can trust the photos we've seen so far, the articulations are fine. Not everything needs to be able to do a perfect 3-point superhero landing pose.

"Kayiodo Style," the latest reviewer's photos look really cool on 5Pro Naver Blog!
I'll put up a link soon as Gokin.it mirrors it teehee.
Some of the cons he put up were. 1.Not loose but rather "smooth" knee joints? 2.lack of stand for flying pose..I think more of wished list. 3.couple of parts, (the translucent green chest piece and one of the round gold piece that sits on top of his clavicle) fell off due to weak glue. A QC issue. Hope it's an isolated problem...
I take my con back on his cape... it looks REALLY COOL on his photos! Very dynamic!!
