Yeah, it TIGHT!! But Yet its little wobbly while its stil fully "clicked" on.....Little play in there. Like i can move it side to side towards left (facing Great) about 1/8 inch or about 3mm. Very noticeable loose wobble.
Just rewatched Wotafa's video review...carefully. And his has the same issue. What's up with THAT? Anyone else has that? The left side wobble on Greats Chest heatsink?

What's up with THAT? Anyone else has that? The left side wobble on Greats Chest heatsink? Mine can rock a little bit from side to side, but only if I move it. It never wobbles on it's own, like when I pick Great up or when I swoosh him around or when I zoom him violently about the house while yelling "Dash! Dash! da-da-dan-dan, Dash! Dash! da-da-dan-dan, Scramburooo . . . Dashu!" Erm... what? Why are you looking at me like that? Anyhow, I figure it's better if it has some play in it, than if it's completely rigid and the plastic gets stressed if I bump into something while holding Great out in front of me and running around the yard and through the woods while yelling "Oreh wah, ...namida naga-san-ny-ee, Da-Da-Dan!" What?!

Ok, cool. At least I'm not the only one with the issue. Yeah, mine never moves unless i nudge it. But its Disturbing and UNnerving to me as this is "the first" Mazinger figure to do that.
But about your pretend play, Hey, we dont judge around here......right? Man,You should see me do the "die-cast test." It looks straight up perverted. Sick and abnormal looking. I dont use finger.....I put my lip on it. Looks like im kissing it ALL over.
Glad you love yours and sounds like you're having a GOOD time with it.

Heh. :) I'm certainly having a blast with it, but I just wrote that stuff for comedic effect. I've never run around with an SOC while shouting the opening lyrics . . .
. . . yet.

I know the feeling S....
My figure as soon as i pose him up, thats it. I rarely have time for a good play time... Hence my now a very late review.. i really really admire bros who do a full blown review. That REALLY takes ton of time, dedication, blood, sweat and tears. My goodness.

Hi guys, Heres MY opinion on this figure. Pros .Heavy....with ton of diecast, this fig is dense with alloy. Forarms, chest, hip, lower legs, feet, hip joints, and spine( the body jonits) are metal! Due to bigger size, he feels heavier then DC Maz, .Now thats what i call CHOGOKIN!! I dont want to hear excuses why they can put more metal in your figure....i just dont. .Excellent paint job. I dont see ANY paint issue. And this fig IS a painted figure, not like colored plastic like SRCs. .Comes with all the accessories. All of em.... .Joints are nice and tight. The only clicky joints on knees are even more velvety then DCMazinger...i didnt think that was possible. .Its nicely scaled to Maz. .Just like its brothren, due to his ab crunch and chest crunch joint, his profile is very dynamic! Unlike past SOCs who are all very stiff in their profile, these DCs look Very natural in side view poses. .The sculpt is dead on. Beautiful....The prototype with the huge anime eyes was HUGE turn off for most. I am SO glad Bandai fixed it at the end. .Gorgeous box art.
Cons .peg on the chest heatsink AND even the wing is bit loose( wobbly) .The knee cap is fixed to upper leg..looks jarringly ugly when legs are bent. .The joint between head and the neck is ugly....BUT he can look even more further down then DC Mazinger. .Unlike DC Mazinger, DC Greats rocket punch forearms are plastic.....not metal. .He comes buried in the Nastiest cheapest most toxic Styrofoam coffin you can buy......
Verdict I highly recommend it. It gets three Gs out of three Gs....Teehee. As the best Great Mazinger figure, I cant choose between this and DX Great Mazinger...its that good. IF you are looking for the ultimate Great Mazinger at a fantasic price? Forget all the previous SOC Great, every cat faced SRC Great variations, forget all the charming vinyls, Please just get this figure while you still can. Suggestions to Bandai DC line desperately needs more ratchet joints.

Really enjoying this one as well. Love that the scrander can tilt up too. The chest boomerang wiggles a bit on mine as well, but doesn't really bother me for some reason. As long as it sits level, I'm good. I actually haven't even removed it. Overall AA+.

i just finish my photography set for the this guy and here is my opinion of it first of all Bandai made a tiny mistake with the shaking hands, if you noticed DC Mazinger z came with silver detailing on his fists while DC Great Maiznger came with black detailing, so its supposed to be that Great Mazinger come with a silver detailing hand for Mazinger z and a black detailing hand for Great Mazinger right ? well Bandai forgot that and they shipped two black detailing hands lol, the only way to know which hand belong to who is by the size Great Mazinger hand is a bit bigger the figure joints is very tight, it feels like the figure is an old release, i was trying to remove some parts but it was like if it was glued inside so i didn't way too many wings, i mean come on Bandai all this technology and you cant figure out a decent easy way to change the wings position ? i rather have two jet scranders (scramble dashs) one in the flying mode and one in the standing mode, because with time those pegs will break not to mention the scratches the neck joint design is really ugly and its limited lastly the great boomerang while attached to the chest is wobbly, its not going to fall by its self but its not as secure as its should be i like the figure and i like the fact the its comes with every thing, you dont have to spend extra cash to buy a TWE set to complete your figure for me this is the 4th best Great Mazinger i own, nothing will beat the DX NOTHING

Hi. I'm very satisfied with this figure but I've two questions: - Why all SOC Great Mazingers have the head slightly smaller than it should be? - Why all SOC great Mazingers have swords slightly bigger than it should be?
Very nice figure though.
Regards.
