So I found these with more pics for SoC Chouryujin and pics of a possible SoC Gekiryujin. This looks to be the DX SoC format due to heavy stands,BGM and even more accessories. A bit different from the past DX SoC offerings as there is no inner frame detail apparently and it would make sense as Gaogaigar is a combiner. Maybe the same for DX SoC Combattler V?

That might also be design concept art that eventually got pared down to the final release product.

That might also be design concept art that eventually got pared down to the final release product. Yeah. That is also another possibility. I do wonder as the base setup is much akin to a DX SoC and how this sheet mentioned BGM,background music,as one of the base's features. But yeah,if anyone can confirm or deny this for me with some knowledge of Japanese, that would be helpful.

Didn't really say if its DX or not. And the stands are pretty much ideas with BGM sound effect and final fusion theme. However, even the Yamato and Arcadia has BGM, so its not a complete surprise for a regular SOC. It also mention possibly having GX-01 Mazinger rocket punch gimmick. And a tiny Guy figure to stand in lion mouth and forehead. But all in all, there aren't that much more detail or gimmick that the regular SOC GGG doesn't have, so quite likely its just a prototype idea for GX-68 and not a DX.

That seems to be the case. the SoC Gaogaigar is a solid toy and whilst it sucks not having some of those extra features, the whole thing has been rocking my display shelf for a while now. Though the stands for Final Fusion and a mini figure of Cyborg Gai would have been amazing.

Yeah. The final fusion display probably got scrapped due to the intro/planning of Goldy and Star Parts, when it can't really hold the combine form very well, so they scrapped it altogether. Mini Guy would be nice indeed.

The final fusion stand and music sounds like an awesome idea! BUT I can see how that idea probably got scrapped due to maybe budgetary concerns.

These are just concept designs for the SOC GGGG, usually designers will go nuts with the bean counters cutting back lol

A good display base would have been nice, at least. These are just concept designs for the SOC GGGG, usually designers will go nuts with the bean counters cutting back lol As a design engineer who's upper management have accounting backgrounds, I can verify this.

Yeah.......I can see the price jumping even to DX SoC levels with the stand being a feature.
