Oh yeah, most definately. For around $40 i highly recommend A.N.I.M.E. Robot Tamashii..all plastic but it comes with everything... Super posable it looks like it poped out of my TV... but its ALL plastic....albeit super high quality plastic. Really nice clean packaging with no styro. Very clean figure with minimal PVC. For around $120 (when i got mine years ago..)you can get the grandfather of Metal Build....The GFFC Metal Composite RX. Ton of metal. Bit stylized compared to ANIME, smaller head and larger hands and maybe larger feet...also bit lankier then the source? If like styro, youre in luck...teehee. And No clickies though...Awful trend that was. the anime version was and still on my mind but every time im going to buy it something insane come out from no where lol as for the Gundam Fix Figuration wow it looks awesome and heavy both Charles done a review about it, but it escaped me some how i will try to get both thank you bro

OOPS!!
That's right. Thank you F360! YES The Key word indeed IS "ORIGIN!! That's the best GFFC you can get from what i understand.
I own three GFFCs and its def THE best...i heard subsequent gffcs likes of unicorn, banshee and norn lack in metal department so...
Going back to topic, yes GFFC RX Origin is the grandfather of Metal Build as far as i am concerned. And you will see what i mean when you have him in your hand. He is a striking figure.
And if this Mazinger's skeleton is worthy of Metal Build Moniker, as good as he looks from the photo? We are in for a REAL treat.

Another oops is obviously this figure has clicky knees.....awesome ratchet wrench metal clicky knees. So i stand corrected on that one.
Sorry bout that Bandai...
But thats a GOOD news as chances are maybe this Metal Build Mazinger will have a quality "metal" clicky knee joints.

and there is the Challenger Demon joking aside since we are talking about a Gundam line, i need a some Gundam in my collection i want the classic RX-78-2 but im not sure which one should i get any advice ? oh and yea i want a figure that is ready in the box no paint no glue and not building require metal composite rx-78-2 the origin Make sure you get the one with the words "the origin". . .. The GFFMC RX-78-2 "The Origin" version is a wonderful piece. And is easily the lowest priced entry level robot for the metal gundams. It's my favorite, but I'm a sucker for the classics. It has a ton of metal, largely all the internal armature. Great range of motion, and a ton of accessories. Other than the knee ratchets being a bit tight on mine I cannot find a fault. The fit and finish is extraordinary. With every possible detail in place. This is a more real world accurate markings version and not quite as anime accurate from '79. It has a ton of hatch markings and safety symbols etc. Size wise it is exactly at 1/100 scale, the same as the Master Grade kits. There are virtually no criticisms or complaints from me on this one. Yeah it's The Origin version, which is a bit lankier and better proportioned than the anime. This is not a bad thing. If you want one representative Gundam in your collection, this is a superb one. The Metal Build Gundams and similar generally have the metal on the inside as the internal frame is all metal along with the feet. Much like the Soul Spec line, but with much better frames. The internal frame resembles the more advanced high articulation frames that they pioneered in the Master Grade G Gundam kits. But instead of plastic its done all in metal. There is enough discreet motion that you could probably do real high quality stop motion with these. I don't have a lot of these. Just this guy, the Exia repair and the Unicorn. Of them I think this one is the best or most representative. (granted I have little attachment to the other shows.) Keep your eyes peeled you can sometimes find this guy at a really good price. They show up occasionally in Amazons open/damaged box deals for around $90.

I know I normally prefer a smoother more classic looking classic robot. But damn! This guy has caught my eye.

Not yet but all of us, including Bandai should brace ourselves. I think its going to sell very well.
The chest looks to accomodate LED gimmick like the one on MB Qan(T) which is preselling out everywhere....

Any idea about how fast MBs actually sell out? just curious as I'm used to the ridiculous PO madness of DX macross stuff.

If you live in USA, you can also pre order domestically should you miss all the japan preorders.

This metal build is really not doing it for me. The eggshell panel lines in the sculpt just kill it for me. But for those that love it, good luck on preorder night!
