No one bought the Gold Lightan from POSE+? I don't have any experience with it. But Toysdaily's video review gave it a lot of praise, with some interesting transformation changes that retained the better looking robot proportion, rather than completely following the cartoon transformation sequence (Bandai's SOC did).

Price for Baxinger is slated at 1890HKD. I will definitely be getting this piece; I have a lot of old memories of the original toy. I recall the old toy being almost all plastic, rather than diecast though..

A lot of info in that interview. I'll try to highlight some stuff I remember, for those that don't understand Cantonese: Baxingar - Interview designer Lou worked on a number of ES Gokin (those SD robot gokins) combiners previously. Baxingar is one of his favorite mech, and put in a lot of love into this project. - Complete transformation with no parts swap, and highly artculated. - All vehicles have working wheels with rubber tires, carefully hidden within the body parts. This is one of their main focus in this toy. - Ratchet joints are used whenever structure/space allowed. - Displayed sample is almost complete, minus paint and clear parts treatment, which they are working on. - The thing is heavy with good diecast amount. - Comes with a couple aesthetic parts if you want to completely remove visible wheels (like the one on the back torso) - Vehicle mode in scale with 3.75 inch figures size. - Chest 'wings' are removable to form boomarang, and have shorter version swap in to allow double hand gripping sword poses. Goshogun - Highly articulated. Meant to greatly improve on CM's and much bigger than theirs. - Much improved mini vehicle bot with very good articulation, transformation, combination, and dock in Goshogun. - Mini combined robot has diecast feet. Gold Lightan buddies - A proof of concept only for now. - If demand is there and licensing is possible, they will make them as cheaper purchases, parts forming, diecast model kit diorama of sort or any reasonable means so it is not as costly to buy 5X Gold Lightan to recreate that scene. Baikanfu - They are confident to beat SOC and Sentinel, with engineering that allow very smooth, high articulation when combined, with no dummy bodies need, combined or not. The overlapping clear plastic film with Baikanfu diagram displayed is real size of the toy, with Kenryu's shoulders & elbows more raised in the combination. Braiger - Not much info, aside a good tie-in candidate with Baxingar's anime, also another lesser known robot with great toy design potential. Thats about it for now. I am pretty much sold on Baxingar. Just need to find the PO at this point. 😍

I'll believe it when I see it and I want to be a believer. I can't wait to see their Baikanfu.

Keep in mind, their idea of 'perfect transformation' is not necessary 100% faithful replication of how it was done in the anime (anime magic included). Like what they did in Gold Lightan, they will take some liberty in altering some transformation sequence if needed, since proportion and no parts swap is higher priority. And robot proportion > vehicle proportion, the designer said, even though they always tried to strike a good balance whenever they can.

So far their sculpts are excellent.

The sculpts look excellent. I am however really hoping that those pictures are just prototype or demo paint, and not the final production. The paint application looks good, but you can tell from the pics that the actual paint quality is to put it mildly sh*tty. I hope the samples were just hand painted samples and the production will be proper lacquers.
