Please continue any discussion about KO Voltron in this thread, not in the SOC GX-71 thread. Thank you. Check out the review by RPA that shows the KO Red Lion side by side with the SOC.

I have already gotten a taste of the overall quality of these KO. Yeah,it only makes me want to get the official release even more. I will understand that there are people who want to settle with this but the iffy paint work and lack of ball jointed feet kinda sealed the deal for me. Nevertheless, happy hunting.

It’s a POS although I’ll probably get the other 4 anyways. Be warned. This is how mine came. imgur.com/gallery/WN5FI

I understand and see who this market is for (i.e. those who missed out on the original etc.); however, when the cost of a KO costs as much as what the original retailed for? I'm sorry, but that's questionable to me because it's not like the quality exceeds the original, nor did they even improve anything or added any gimmicks to warrant the equal price of the original.

I think it's very blatantly just cashing in on the original's price demand because they can. In a business sense I don't blame them but as a part of the collecting community it's unfortunate.

It’s a ridiculous price for a KO. They should be $25-30 each tops.

I was hoping that we can exchange a C&D if more SoC Voltron figures came from that. But it would be a while before any reissue happens.
Again, this KO is nice but is of course nowhere near SoC nice. I can see people settling for this but I have seen enough of the SoC via pics and videos to know what I would be missing with the KO.

Looking forward to this. great alternative incase you didn't get the soc. Can't wait to see how the finished voltron will look combined.

Why can't people be patient Yeah. I am also holding out hope for a reissue. But those prices on the aftermarket are getting way too ridiculous. I just don't know when Bandai will reissue the SoC but I cannot wait.

But you are waiting nevertheless. I mean, only one of five lions have been released. No guarantees all five will get released in the future. If Bandai reissue the SOC before all five are released it’d kill the demand and possibly the release of remaining lions. It sucks to have missed the SOC but if there’s money to be made I don’t see why Bandai won’t reissue it.

Yeah the fact that they're releasing the lions individually is something that bothers me. We don't know how long it'll take for them to release all five lions if they really do end up completing them. And even then, between the time of each lion release, there's the chance of Bandai announcing a re-issue.
