Beware bro , never trust them 😖 I don't like A-E either. Bought from them consistently over 1 year plus. Spent a lot, mostly older DX Chogokins, new or grade A. Finally, found YF-19Advance and YF-30 and ordered both from A-E. Supposed to be new. Both arrived in good grade boxes, but opened, and the YF-19 was so damaged, should have been D grade or lower. Paint scratches, chipped plastic, cracked cockpit. YF-30 was not as bad but still obviously used, should have been listed C grade, with few tampo scuff and some paint wear from transformation. Also missing pilot figure. I emailed A-E and sent photos. They claimed that they sent new items and it was damaged in shipping. How can the boxes be undamaged if that was the case? They wouldn't even take the return, claiming I was trying to scam them. I went through Paypal and was able to get my money back but lost about $150 shipping 2 directions. The sh*ttiest customer service.

Damn..... Yeah, i got a story with AE too.
Unless desperate, id go with HLJ. Never heard bad stuff about them. But i usually end up getting my figs from CD Japan, " but when in doubt go with HLJ." Thats what lot of bros say.

There was a macross PO last week, price was cheap, 15K yen, PO closed in a matter of minutes, after a few minutes, opened up again, after a good 15 minutes and raised the PO from 15K to 22k, they most likely saw how popular the item was.
Anyway, man, SOC POs are not the hardest to get.
I missed the Voltron POs, was Voltron easy to get hold off? or was it a war? I know BBTS, eknight pre order took a while before they sold out.

Bought from them like for 4-5 years with no issues, until I did. Had email issues trying to resolve the problem, a lot of back and forth. But at least Erika gave an effort and took them months to track down figures in my order that they sold to someone else. But when I had another issue some time down the road, its just radio silence (Erika no longer works there by then). Then years later, my buddy ordered Fewture Getter Poseidon there. They took his money, but didn't send him anything. Didn't make an effort to resolve the issue. My buddy never received his paid Poseidon from them and lost the money. Since then, I refuse to ever buy from them. Worst part is, I recommended my buddy to go with AE...never again, for my fellow collectors.

yes bro dont worry i didnt get it from them
i rarely use them these days, only TWE items since they offer a warehouse and their shipping is cheaper than others
the last two items i got from them was GX-48K Big O and the SRC Gurren Lagann no problems of any kind
thing is AE was the very first online store i buy from (back in 2010) its kinda sad to see them like this tho i had couple of problems with them, from poor packaging to identical accessories but i got refunded by PayPal

What u said is true about Nippon-Yasan as the way they do business is a bit odd, but their practice is a bit smart as I understood from them that even if the item is not on their site, you can ask them and they will look for it for you with extra charge ofc as they see the popularity of the item and jack the price so the sooner you order the cheaper you pay, take a look as SRC Great Mazinkaiser, when it was first listed it was around 13000 Yen, now it got jacked up to 24000 Yen, however I always turn to them when I am out of options to avoid eBay sellers TH,x

Amazon adjusts its pricing on almost every item they sell on the fly. That is true. I've seen Amazon prices change after I buy something. I would think "Hmmm, maybe I should have bought two instead." Go back to Amazon 1 minute later and the price is back up to normal. I think Amazon uses some sort of automatic overstock management program to quickly move items they think may not sell well or they don't feel comfortable overstocking on their shelves. That might have been the case for the price drop on SOC Megazord last year.

I’ve said many times, use AE for preorders only, they are great with it!
However, do not buy their used items or one piece only items.
I’ve dealt with AE for close to 10 years. Never any problems with preorders. On the other hand , I had problems with the used items every time I get one from them (although they did resolve every problem I have every time). Their source of used items is sketchy.
