well.. if thats what theyre trying to do.. bad decision. a supposedly modern figure..trying to imitate the brick? lol
think about it as a evil way to tickle your nostalgia lol
back in the days we didn't care much about articulation all we care about is the play time
also we must be realistic bro, it will be very hard to give this figure a decent articulation after all its about 15 ship combining together
i think in best case scenario it will have the same rang of articulation as the GX72 Megazord

If were talking about articulation.. Bandai should kick the crap out what Miracle did with thier outdated version.. (created in cave with a bunch of scraps lol) But if they aint outdoing Miracle in that department.. thats backwards.. not Bandai-like.. its a disappointment.

highly agree with you, not to mention it took MP 3 versions to make it right
while Bandai have the all the time and all the right tools to do it right from the first time
lets just wait and see what they will comes up with

I did and it's why I stated that you were incorrect. Some people definitely took issue with the perception of proportion but it was no where near the negative response of this which is a pretty universal "nope." But feel free to quote me and write something vapid again. actually the only vapid thing is your memory pal
either you didn't checked the thread it or forgot, on the very previous page of this page, there is a confirmation on what i said, people didn't hate the GX71 or said they will never buy, they had couple issues with the over all design in a prototype same with this figure
but again feel free to believe whatever sail your boat Checked the thread before my initial response, "pal" thus me quoting what was written "pal" and not being a single bit incorrect "pal." I don't know if there's a problem with comprehension, possibly my delivery (could be; who knows,) or what but I feel like per usual with you this is a conversation that was over 5 posts ago and now I'm humoring someone rambling. We're done. If were talking about articulation.. Bandai should kick the crap out what Miracle did with thier outdated version.. (created in cave with a bunch of scraps lol) But if they aint outdoing Miracle in that department.. thats backwards.. not Bandai-like.. its a disappointment. I don't really think that's a fair assessment as the MP really does look to have very good articulation, even by today's standard. There are so many mecha toys out there made within the past decade that utilize double joints, ab crunching, etc. etc. like this that fit into today's "norm" that it really took me back as I started to see it more and more believing it was all a bit more "new." I would hope that Bandai would try to meet with the Miracle does in that department but it's a 50/50 because the majority of SOC combiners past and present don't.

Seriously,I am hoping for butterfly joints for the shoulders and some pics of more dynamic poses being done.
On regards to how the board reacted to SoC Voltron pics, people did say the chest looked too wide and the thighs being a bit short.
Granted the chest was ultimately fine in hand and the thighs we got an upgrade set for.

I'd always thought they were 1/1 but chromed or whatever. Shoot I may have to get them now.

I have a set but no GX-71 but from what I saw on Chachi's youtube review they are a bit longer and will make your Voltron stand a bit taller.

I have high regards for Miracle's version actually... for a decent figure with no vast experience in the industry.. thats an achievement. Plus truly greatful to them having guts releasing Dairugger at that time. Me saying a large established Bandai outfit kicking the crap out of it is to be expected.. so anything short is uncharacteristic and mind boggling.

Thanks. I went to the website and looked through the inventory and couldn't find it. So I assumed it's sold out there. I'll reach out to him. I dont think he ever offered through his website. He did offer it through his FB page. Basically he found the guy who makes these in china and bought a large order from him. Sold out the first batch very quickly. I know he was going to order a second batch, not sure where that stands. But if you dont do FB try messaging him through his website.

Some were concerned about the strange “Spirits” rebranding? Apparently this is more widespread than simply SOC, and would appear to be a full rebranding of what we think of as Tamasii Nations into “Bandai Spirits”. It seems to include the bulk of the Adult Collectable lines. SHFA, SHMA, Robot Spirits, SOC, etc.So that “Soul of Chogokin Spirits” probably does not reflect a new SOC sublime or change in focus. GX-88 looks to be a standard mainline SOC.
My suspicion is this is part of Bandai’s attempt to reclaim the Bandai branding in North America. The “Bandai” name in the US and Canada has long been held by “Bandai America” who was an 80’s toy importer with no direct ownership or business connections to Bandai proper. The Tamashii Nations labeling was largely a way for Bandai proper to differentiate their high quality products from the sh*t tier syuff Bandai America produces. “Bandai Spirits” May indicate that Bandai America is starting to fail or perhaps be absorbed by Bandai proper, following their loss of the Power Rangers license.

Good. Cause as soon as Operation Overdrive they started to divert from the original Bandai Japan molds and it got REALLY bad starting MMPR 2010's "Remaster". Bandai America really screwed the pooch with their handling of their Power Rangers license. Granted I have yet to see Hasbro try and step it up with their Zord line-up. The human figures look from decent to AMAZING,however.

I think everyone might be disappointed with Hasbro Zords however. Most of Hasbro's decent robots are designed by Takara. But Takara can't touch the PR line supposedly.
