I've requested to cancel my order with NY as well. Now an online chat with them, they told me that it has already been sent out. However, the tracking they gave me doesn't work. Disappointed at having to pay premium price for it and not getting it on time (or at all for that matter).
I expected much more from a Japanese company.

Thank goodness I have no horror GX-88 stories! No problems with receiving orders and in great shape. #Voltron4life

I agree Brandon is a super nice guy but how do you order from him now? The site is no longer updated and he does not return emails. Just curious the only time I see him is at the local Toy Shows. Im in New Jersey and I ordered from 3 different places. They were all shipped when received by the sellers. In order from quickest to slowest with total price after tax/shipping. 1. Supreme Collector BST $338: shipped 11/16, delivered 11/18 2. BBTS $366.78: arrived at BBTS 11/21, shipped 11/24, delivered 11/27 3. Entertainment Earth $362.51: shipped 11/20, delivered 11/30 All of them arrived perfect condition and the Supreme BST order even came in the Bandai shipping box. The fastest ended up being the lowest priced. Go figure. Brandon from Supreme Collector is truly a class act. This dude must be recognized somehow big time for how much he does and contributes for the toy community. I'm thankful he lives only north of me while in the same state.

I really saved myself a headache by getting dairugger through amiami for almost 100 USD cheaper than you guys through nippon-yasan. I've only ordered through then twice for scale figures, but yeah I'm not liking hearing how they're treating customers buying high end collectibles that are in the $300 range.

I've only ordered through then twice for scale figures, but yeah I'm not liking hearing how they're treating customers buying high end collectibles that are in the $300 range. That's the thing. Manage to get a preorder from amiami is much harder than from Nippon-Yasan, since NY put up another batch or two with raised price tag after the initial batch sold out. Great that you managed to get one at Amiami, but a lot of us failed on that, with Nippon-Yasan being our last resort (at the time). And since NY don't normally allow cancelling POs, most of us are stuck with them even though months later, US retailers start putting up preorders in cheaper price than NY's marked-up price. It is not until now, a month after release, that NY actually still can't fill some of their orders, that they are allowing cancellation due to their fault. And that's where many of these feedback came in. While no one likes NY's practice on putting mark-up pricing on 2nd and 3rd batches of sort-after items, they are good with web exclusive orders (they barely charge extra, maybe like US$5-10 more) that can only order through a middleman service or if you live in Japan. Even shops as good as BBTS with excellent customer service, their web exclusive pricing is quite ridiculous, not much better than NY's mark-up that many are complaining about. So it really depends on where you are coming from. I bought from NY for many years, and I have been pretty lucky so far. GX-88 is the only order that got delayed, but since I have a backup from Amazon, and they refunded my money right away, I am fine with it. It does help knowing the quirks from these shops, so you know what not to use them for.

I've been buying from Japanese vendors since 2000 -- the days when I was a regular at TBDX. Back then, the vendors were different but I bought from HLJ, Toy-Wave, and very often Amenbo. Hobby Search then appeared along with NY and AmiAmi I think a few years after the initial vendors and with Amenbo folding and Toy-Wave just not as reliable in having the things I want up for PO, I started going with the latter trio. And for awhile, it was great. Then, the last few years, it's just been STUPID getting particular gokin toys...it's now sellouts within minutes when before, I could usually PO something a day or so after the announcement with ZERO issues for any vendor. I get that merchants have to limit inventory to be competitive but this is ridiculous. Anyways, it's frustrating. I went through another SF again for the GFFMC Vegetable-colored Zaku and GUESS WHAT...I am stupid and went with the only vendor with a realistic price today: NY. So, did I learn my lesson from my MIA Rollerskatestron? NOPE! But, hey...glutton for punishment. I suspect the same shenanigans when Hulk Zaku is released and most get theirs and I'm picking my nose with nothing. Haha...ugh.

Dude, you just took me through the memory lane...TBDX, Amenbo, HLJ, Toy-Wave, then the rise of NY and Amiami. And when it comes to middle man service, Masato was our guy (many TBDX folks used him, very nice Japanese dude that only EMS once or twice a month). I wonder if we ever crossed path at TBDX before, but too long ago to remember. Anyhow, hope you get the rollerskater and veggie Zaku in the end without trouble. NY's initial discount can be quite tempting.

Entertainment Earth's tracking system kind of sucks. It does not update often, but yet it updates more than the USPS one they are using. I was supposed to have it today or tomorrow, but I just got an email saying it won't come till tomorrow from USPS. That works better for me since I have a senior show today, but I wish it was better at updating like the regular postal service usually is. Maybe amazon spoiled me.

Picked up my last ordered gx-88 at my local gamestop. The box did have a slight scuffing but the figure itself was perfect. Felt good to go to a store and pick up something just like how it used to be(referring to old anime shops I grew up going to). This ending the journey of Voltron for 2019. I know it's a good chance this guy won't be(I'm sure alot of marks are gonna be saying mp-44 for this)but I'm hoping he is toy of the year or atleast a 2nd to 3rd runner up.
Man I really feel bad for the people still waiting on theres. There's no way people who bought from us vender(especially eknight however they got they're stock alot earlier then expected) having theirs before people who ordered from Japan specifically N-Y. That really is kinda fd up but lesson learned this year huge, don't deal with N-Y simple.

You didn't accidentally leave it in your Pile of Loot, did you? You may want to double check with them. It's probably that it didn't go out last week as that was Thanksgiving in the US so almost nothing would move between Thursday and Monday.

I just got mine as well, both arrived in great condition!
I’ll have to have more time with the toy, but it’s not the GX-71, But I’m not sure if that what I should be comparing it too...
GX-71 spoiled us!!! 😀

GX-71 spoiled us!!! 😀 It's not quite GX-71, but it's damn close. For me it's edged out GX-68 to take the #2 spot. And the only thing that puts it behind GX-71 is the actual design of the Dairuger Robot is not quite as cool as GoLion. The individual vehicles aren't as much fun by themselves as the 5 lions are. In terms of features, quality and craftsmanship GX-88 nails it.

i know some of you guys might throw rocks at me but hear me up
i think this figure got alot more love than Golion, i mean Golion have some issues (for me at least)
first they used sliver instead of white, and the wings on his back are not accurate, Golionn had this huge Y on his back, also i wish if they come up with an idea to hide the the lion legs to make it more accurate, maybe a plastic covers, lastly a way to hide the the black lion front legs to make the back looks cleaner and accurate as well
but maybe Bandai are saving those for an R version maybe ? and i think it need LEDs in the lions eyes and in Golion eyes, if TP can do it im more than sure Bandai could
now for the GX88 for me i couldn't not find anything wrong with its accurate and very well articulated for a 15 part combiner, how to improve it add LEDs in the eyes thats it
