So, I'm SOL...per my discussion with Visa, once the credit is issued, it's no longer a CC matter because the vendor has reimbursed me. How I want to the reimbursement is between me and NY.
WTF. So, in short, Visa has told me to PFO. This is ridiculous. I guess I have 47K JPY to play with at NY. Just pray I don't preorder something they are short for.
I have one more play with them...I'll see if they'll refund my PO for the GFFMC Green Zaku and I'll use the credit to pay for that.

Tell them you preorder a item , in their terms it’s call “delay delivery” item . The store can no longer supply the item I preordered. You requested a refund from the store for not full filling your order , but the store decided to give you store credit instead . Which was not what you preorder and not what you requested. It’s like you preorder a apple and they ran out and gave you a donut and call it a day . Maybe another csa can figure out a way to precess your chargeback .

f360, you are great. I have a case number issued by Visa now. The second agent was alot more helpful than the first one. So, let's see where this goes.
Hopefully it does not take long. Anyone know how long these CC disputes go for?

Anyone know how long these CC disputes go for? I never had to deal with my creditcard company for these issue yet. But I did dispute extra amount on my TIP charge and it was taken care of in 3 days. Waiter try to get $8 tip for a $18 meal.

Mine finally came from bbts. I don’t know why I felt underwhelmed when I opened it and got to examine it. Maybe am finally beginning to burnout from this hobby. Those last couple of chogokin was not as exciting as it was before.

I know the feeling man, I still love to visit the forums and get super exited with the announcements all the way until the figure ships, but once I have it in my hand I barely pay any attention to it. The last 3 figs I got are still sealed in a corner of my room with no desire to open them. It’s weird

I wasn't really excited to get this either. Mostly due to the fact that I really did not enjoy the GX-40R. So Dairugger sat for over a week before I even opened it. However, once I opened it I loved it. Very fun, not fiddly or difficult and overly complex. Lots of clicks and pops, and everything fits in place without feeling like you're gonna break it. As far as the thrill of the hunt versus receiving, we could have a whole thread dedicated to the bizarre pychology of collecting!

I have plenty awesome purchases that are still in the unopened box. These days, I open just selected few upon arrival. Many stays in a pile or storage, until one day something triggers me to open it, whether is from a forum discussion, re-watching a show, saw a review that piqued my interest, heard the soundtrack, or playing a SRW game that has the mech in that installment...etc. pretty random. But I still love this hobby after collecting for 2 decades now, regardless not having the urge to open everything all at once. Helps on shipping cost too since it doesn't matter too much if it comes in 3 days or 3 weeks.

Hi guys. I finally put mine togather.
My first impression: Its an awsome combiner that looks feels great that diplay and pose really well.
But it does come with few QC issues. 1.my yellow truck's(foot) wheels "tuck in" function is already wearing out...wtf.(anyone else have this problem?) 2.i can notice fine hairline scratches on forearms' paint. 3.speaking of paint, i notice quite a few tiny paint imperfections on my copy. More then usual SOC releases 4.the propellers and front skirts do pop out way too easy. Blue Helicoper's pops out just by the force of gravity...that's stupid. 5.and that blue swish effect part is just ugly as my sin.... had to call it out.
I will do my more "formal"(haha) "review" soon after i get more time with this guy.

No springs or anything. Just there by friction.

The same. Mines been sitting on my desk since it arrived, getting regular play and fiddling. I keep finding new things. It's unquestionably the best rendition of the 15 part combiner that we are ever likely to see in our lifetimes. And I say this as someone who has and still loves the MMC. There are a few minor quibbles that I have, but nothing that reduces the figures standing. (getting the chest jet exactly centered is an Obsessive Compulsive's nightmare). I can't escape how solid this thing is. All the major connections. Every time I pick it up I discover that the articulation is much better than I had thought. I have been babying it, because who expects to find any decent articulation on a Dairugger XV figure? I mean classic was a cool looking statue. Little things keep popping out at me. Like just how complex and amazingly designed the two white subs are. (For those who worry about having to pull the noses back out. When you flip the metal connector pin for the lower leg, back into it's stowed position it smoothly pushes the nose part way out and you can use the side sliders from there.)

Hi Faelon
My copy has tiniest notches in the "chest" where the jet clips onto. (They are in the dead center of the white plastic area where jets red clips clip onto.)
I landed the jet four times so far and it always landed perfectly in the dead center..i hope this info helps?
FYI, Pressing down on the nose of the jet seems to release it easily.

In getting ready to unbox this is there a fairly comprehensive list of things to look out for? Some people were saying to be careful with the red jet when attaching to the chest. You need to hook the bottom part first then snap the top one. Always press the buttons when connecting parts that have them. The chest, torsos and bottom legs have them. Extend the bottom half of the feet first before trying to attach them to the lower legs. Your won’t be able to slide them in if you don’t. Also, the upper legs have to be straight if you plan on moving the hip flaps up for dynamic poses. If you don’t, moving the flaps up will pop them off. That’s all I can think of right now. Anyone feel free to chime in if I’ve forgotten anything.

In getting ready to unbox this is there a fairly comprehensive list of things to look out for? Yes, the instruction manual. In this case it’s worth paging through. Putting it together is instinctive. But there are some hidden release buttons or locks that you want to know so you don’t brute force it to come apart. just off the top of my head - on the feet cars, when the wheels are pulled upwards that also acts as a clamp on the ankle connector. Pull the wheels back down before removing. - The knees and hips are just friction connections. - to remove the hips from the abdomen there is a well hidden button on the back of the abdomen ship, between the treads. - the center chest is the release button for the head and arm helicopters. - when the wheels on the forearms are rotated to the underside it in theory clamps or looks the connector to the arms.

When it comes to the Red Jet, it is not the hook-on that you need to be careful (it snaps on easy as instructed). Its when you try to take it out. Follow the instructions and lift the tail end up first. But it needs enough pressure to pull it loose to make you uncomfortable. Go slow.
