Don't know what the story's about but it looks like a take on the Getter Robo concept.

It's not my kind of thing- I don't like that style of robot but, I want to follow this to see what comes next and where it goes.
They must have done some kind of market research on the character to release it... If you get more varied info please paste it. I want to see the whole strategy for the character.
It's not a profitable time to be thinking about manufacturing in plastic- and die cast is a limited market making up a fraction of Bandais profits...so games, comics and brand product licensing perhaps ??

It looks more like an restyled Evangelion....I don't like those feet. They look like a duck's feet.

I hate the design, but somehow I like it as well...I like the three different robot schemes, though. It's a start for 3-way combiners, though, definitely a start.
Anybody other then me want a 15"+ combining Getter 1 toy?

I will start with the anime/movie. If it is good, and they make the toys out of diecast I will likely buy them. Of course I say this but I did not like the diecast Escaflowne I got awhile back..I don't even concider it to be in my collection.

hmmm kind of interested in the design... I think the only part that botheres me are the colours... too much white.. its not like the getters where the colours are really strong.. and you associate it with that colour. These guys its White and one colour.. I prefer it if the colour was more dominant then the white.
Kind of curious to see more... but I always get disapointed with most 3d anime cel shading... In anime I usually prefer them to do draw it in 2d.. cause they can really exagerate and warp the look. You tend to see that less when they use the 3d models.... sigh.. I'll reserve judgement till the show comes out.
I hope more gattai shows come about.

That looks nice. If you're familiar with Bittorrents, here is a website that you can download the anime. So far they have 3 episodes posted right now. Just keep on visiting the site for new episodes. tracker.mahou.org/

Hey that show isn't half bad... although I find the robot animation a bit stiff... but not bad... but I can see why they did computer.. too many parts to draw.

I agree the show is pretty good (although the Atlantis theme is getting kinda old). The mech designs though are a little too complex/fussy but we'll see how the figures turn out once their painted and have more shots of them.

Yeah I have to agree with Chen... to busy looking.. and the colours arn't strong enough to differentiate the two robots.. I think I said this already.. too much white. Its not like Getta robo or G. You could look at the silhouettes and tell which robot is which... or if you just looked at the overall colour scheme its easy to recognize because of the striking colours on each robot.
but the show isn't bad... I would its B- or a C+ but I really like the ship designs at least.
