G probably stands for 'Great'. But since its obvious that Great Mazinger already used that term first, they probably try to use it without sounding repetitive as "Getter Robo Great" or "Great Getter Robo", so just call it Getter Robo G.

I get my Gaiking yesterday ! Nice... but feet are too loosy compare to weight .. Ok it is a nice piece but as price is not so loosy, I think it's a pity to see a problem like this on this kind of toy. Grendizer will stay number one in my heart ! I'm sorry Gaiking.

Just a little curious.. has anyone herd any complaints about the sliding of the legs for Gaiking? I remember Chen mentioning it or somebody about it for Grandizer.

The legs seem to contract alot easier than Grendizrs but thats probably due to the increased weight in the upper body. Also the power up leg armor slides of too easy but they wont slide off due to the feet. It's funny, they made the forearm armor super tight but made the leg armor loose.

yeah I find the legs seem really slidey... very weird. Thanks Chen... I'll feel a little better when Contracting the legs... It just made me kind of worry if I played with it too much.

Just a little curious.. has anyone herd any complaints about the sliding of the legs for Gaiking? I remember Chen mentioning it or somebody about it for Grandizer. hello! newbie here! i just bought my Gaiking 2 days ago, and my greatest problem are the legs. left knee is wobbly, left ankle is very loose, like there's no rubber cap for the ball joint. and yes, the legs slide up easily. the legs on my GX-04S re-issue are tighter. anyone have techniques to tighten the knees and ankles?

Hello BMH, and welcome to Robot-Japan! Well come to think of it a lot of the members here have the same leg problem too,but mine doesn't. Come to think of it the legs on my GX-27 are tight and I barely have any problems with its retractions. However both of my GX-27's ankle joints are slightly loose, probably because of how its joint is connected to the legs. Just try to ignore the loose ankle problem as I don't have a method to fixing it. Also for the legs, did you try to pull them out tightly so they lock in to place? I tried that and it does work on mine. If that helps solve your problem, let me know. If not, other members here will help and they might even find a solution to the ankle joint.

The main flaw of my Gaiking is not the legs but the paint "bubble" defect on the right "sleave." I bought it MIB and was a bit dissapointed to find it flawed. All in all though I find him to be one of the best looking SOC out there + he has lots of accessories as well. ;D
