I went out looking for an SOC Gaiking, couldn't find one (sure as Hell couldn't leave empty handed) so I picked up a 2004 Aoshima/Miracle House Shin Getter 1 SG06. I have two questions about it: Is this a re-issue by Aoshima for an earlier Shin Getter model? Also, what is the purpose of the button on the back of his waist?

I can answer your first question. This is a new release by Aoshima, this time depicting the headliner robot from the recent Shin Getter Robo 2004 OVA, which I believe was 13 episodes long.

2nd question, the answer is, the from white hexagon can be opened and there's a tiny missle inside, when you push the bottom the missle goes out a little.

Aren't those Tomahawk handles metal? If so how good can New Getter pose with them(Meaning is the weight limiting too many good poses the new getter can do with the tomahawk?)?

Nah, Shin Getter can hold a pose perfectly. The joints are pretty tight and the Tomahawks aren't really heavy.

Hi, in fact there is only models kits about Getter 2 & 3 (Bandai,ect...), a few Pvc figures (Kaiyodo,ect...) and Jumbo Machinders (Popy, Takatoku), some awsome (Marmit) ,perhaps the next Fewture models will give to Aoshima the idea to bring us a few Getter mode 2 & 3. Remenber fantastic Takatoku Toy line about Getter Robot Go.....
