Is HLJ a good store(SOCs or merchandise in general) to order online from? Can you place telphone orders?I'm just wondering 'cause I'm planning on ordering SOC GX-10(Boss Borot) from there

Been shopping from HLJ for years.... they haven't failed me yet... But I find them good for highly sought-after SOCs to pre-order since shipping is kind of expensive, they are an overseas merchant and they only use EMS and the cheaper but slower SAL. For items that have been out try Twinmoons anime or BigBadToyStore. The total cost (shipping included) is about the sameor a little bit more expensive but you'll get your toys sooner.

HLJ is good, but shipping will kill you... I find they're reliable, but fairly slow... but then again, you're stuff's coming from the other side of the planet (assuming you're in North America). I'll back up GDomino: www.tmpanime.com is great. They're in the US (California) and are really good - especially for customer service.

A friend of mine ordered from HLJ recently.
Mostly books. He complained that the shipping was the same price as the books themselves.
... but, you can't beat HLJ for reliability.

Another question about GX-10,are the yellow parts supposed to dislodge when you sometimes pose the arms?Is that the same case with GX-06?

if you don't care about the condition of the box, sure! There is no guarantee of the condition of the box. They could pack you a slightly crumble box, with wear or dented corners , etc. Even you return it, you loose the shipping money. You have to return it on your expense , then they decide whether to accept the item upon inspection, etc. No guarantee of a refund. I am talking about damaged box before even packed for shipping , not Post Office or other couriers related problems.
I don't buy from them any more. I am getting the Voltes SOC from other Japanese shops(cheaper price and shipping) with better services.

So if you pose it, the whole arm will just pop off from its magnet socket?

The arms on mine don't pop out of the magnet socket but at the elbows. It's nothing major just when you try posing extreme bends the elbo socket slips out. But when you push it back in it's fine and will hold a pose.

3 years after getting my hands on him, Boss is still one of my faves and he gets the most smirks from people seeing him for the first time. Simplicity at its best.

I second Twin Moons, Tam is great! I also second Boss Borot, he is one of my favorite. I wouldn't put much worry into the arm thing. I have had no issues in that regard.
