Hello SOC experts I was able to recently snag some opened SOC GX-19 and gx-20. Well I was hoping that this are in good condition (considering the price which is about $65 each) but after trying to assemble it i notice a few scratches on both robots that did hurt a little. Now when i checked again I notice the Ligers left knee having a big paint chip (such a heart breaker ) I was thinking of trying to return it but I decided not to -since this babbies are too hard to find. Now when I started to assemble the Posiedon's body upper to the lower section i notice the connection is a bit loose although it can hold itself. Is it really like that?? Well i hope i can get some reply. thanks people Any chance you guys sharing how u clean ur SOCs? And another tragedy can someone post how the condor looks like from the Great Mazinger GX-02 or 02R? I keep my SOC on display it just happen that time that my nephew went inside my room and touched the precious thing now i cant find it. I am just thinking of making one as a replacement. Oh sooo sad

Well I can answer the POseidon question(even though I don't own it,but)try using force to keep the hip and the main body from becoming loose. To know if it's tightly secure, you have to hear a click, and by doing that use a lot of force to connect Poseidon's main body to his hip

Yup, when assemblying Poseidon push the button on his waist and push quite abit to get a good connection. Don't worry you won't hurt the figure. As for cleaning your SOC's just wipe them down with lint free clothes and wipe off any fingerprints.

65$?!
If you dont want it you can sell it off ebay, you will get like 130$ for each piece.

miliatype, I have to recommend messing around with the poseidon a lot until you're absolutely sure you've got it. There's one way to connect it that's extremely lose, one that's extremely tight. If you've got it connected right, you can pick up poseidon by the upper body without it moving around (not that i'd recommend doing that in general, just tempting fate). One other thing- many people don't push the head all the way in- it takes a good amount of pressure. It looks better all the way in, but it's very hard to get out once pushed in, so be careful on that.

If you get a good strong connection it will be very sturdy. Infact I posted a pick where I tied a ten pound weight to Poseidon's waist and it was strong enough to hold the weight.

I initially had the same trouble and was afraid to exert more force fearing I might break Poseidon and be left with a die-cast version of the Philippine vampire.
