I am almost certain to buy a "GX-05B Daiku maryu/ Gaiking Black" sometime soon, but will there ever be a giant sized "GX-05 Daiku maryu" to go with the new regular sized Gaiking?
People seem to really be enjoying the new Gaiking release, but I haven't received mine yet so I can't join in the fun. Is the giant dragon to be the ultimate accessory?
Thoughts? Insider info? Hopeful Wishes?

I really dont think so, because of the size. Just look at your GX-05 and you can figure out how small the gaiking is and how big the Daiku maryu... ...If they make one the price will be like over 100000yen, which almost nobody in the world will be crazy enough to afford it... ...

BGX-01 is the giant version of Mazinger Z,or at least TOYBOXDX claims it to be(and claims it exists).

Is BGX-01 the 180cm giant mazinger Z? If it is, there're also giant grendizer, great mazinger and tetsujin 28 that i know existed, the retail price is 198000.

I would say it's unlikely, but not totally impossible. Bandai does have a 1/25th scale RX78/2 in the HY2M line that sells for about $700 US. For that matter those 1/12 scale giant ZakuII kits can be had also if you're willing to part with enough cash. A die-cast giant Daikumaryu would be just way too cool, but if the big dragon shows up at all, my guess would be an HY2M kit, or something similar. JWM

BGX-01 has yet to be released. So far it's just rumor.
Bandai DID however do the Hover peilder and mazinger head set, so that is kind of what we are talking about.
I wonder - Would the Gaiking skull from the SOC fit onto the body of the JM Daikyu Maru?

The display base, however, does sort of serve as a substitute for DaikuMaryu, because you can place the Gaiking skull on a huge "peg" that looks like DMR's neck, making it look somewhat like DMR,but without the body.

I wonder if there is a way for someone to make a resin kit of a large scale Daiku. Are there any places that will scan a GX-05, enlarge it 200%, then sculpt one for you. The only downside (besides cost) is that it would basically be a Daiku statue but it would be inscale with GX-27.

I've found places that will 3d scan an item for you, mill it out of foam to whatever size you want. You can then use that to make plaster/resin molds after. But all these places are in the States and I'm guessing that price will not be cheap.

plus.. you'll probably have to take apart your figure to get a proper cast. arg just the thought of it would be like Murder to me!

I wouldn't mind taking my Daiku apart since he is in the roughest condition of all my SOC's, but I'm guessing you would have to sell alot of recasts to make up for the initial scanning and sculpting cost.
