Based on the early blueprints, there's no mechanism for the top thingies. Aside from making the toy weak in the middle, that would eat up space for the Panzer and Frigate c0ckpits to fit into.
Ground fire cannon is likely to be a plug-in. Dunno about the belts though.

Yeah, I hope you guys aren't setting yourselves up for a big disappointment. Voltes is gonna be great but if your expecting built in chain knuckles, tops, and firing missiles your gonna be out of luck. the figure only stands maybe ten inches tall and most if not all of the accessories are gonna be plug ins or attachments. The closest your gonna get is the built in sword pommel and I'm betting you will still have to insert a blade and handle or it will come with two different swords one with the spring blade and another more traditional version.

I agree with Chen. Most of the things that we saw on the blueprints might not even be included. The most plausible accessory that they can put into that 10-10.5 inch frame would be the the built-in Voltes Bazooka that can be accesseed by pulling out, and folding the right hand via a hinge (note the slight difference in the wrist section in the Voltes robot pic).

I really hope they add those plug in accessories(especially the chain knuckle and variant hands) and firing missile gimmicks.

I would pretty much appreciate anything that Bandai decides to do with SOC Voltes V. I mean, I have waited long enough and I just can't wait to hold and play one.

The way they're making GX-30 is great. To me its turining out like GX-23 but with the styling of GX-03.This is probably going to be the best representation of V5 since the POPY version. It will also be the most EXACT representation to date!

Omni existence: I think the SOC V5's hands are small fo that they will fit/retract inside his forearm like the anime... I wonder how they can make his Frigate missiles, spring loaded...it seems too small...
I would rather have it more anime correct (proportion wise) than playable.....although of course if the frigate missiles fire...that's better!!! BUT NOT THE FISTS!!! that is not in the anime!! :-) He is no mazinger Z!

Hey, when is GX-30 Voltes V coming out? Will we see it before 2006?

I wonder if the designers are going to do something about the obvious screw holes on the Voltes Frigate. Are they going to use screw hole covers?

Are they going to use screw hole covers? .......... like this ? my Frigate ;D Yeah that was the first thing I noticed as well. Although once the colours are applied on the toy, I'm sure it wont be as noticeable ...

Well the BATTLE MARINE GX-03 did have screw holes as well, but GX-30 Frigate has loads of em. Not really my concern since most DC models I check out have holes in em. My only concern really are the tire materials for VOLT LANDER(whether they're plastic or rubber). Also it would be nice to make each Volt Machine's landing gear free-wheeling. PLEASE ADD IN FIRE MISSILE GIMMICKS TOO!
