hello!
i think this is my first post in this message board. i know a lot of you guys already have your GX-27 Gaiking. i just bought mine two days ago, and frankly i am very disappointed. not so much as the sculpt or the accessories, or the paintjob, they are all great.
unfortunately, the toy i received had bad joints. the left knee was wobbly, and the left ankle joint is so loose i don't think they put a rubber cap in it. it won't stand in normal mode, and easily topples in upgrade mode.
this is my second SOC. I bought it a few days after the GX-04S reissue. The Grendizer set was perfect, this one sucks.
any help you can give me on how to tighten the joints? i think tightening the screws will work, but i don't want to risk it yet.
where can one buy rubber joint caps in case they did forget to put caps on the ankles?
thanks you!

I posted some solutions to your problem on the other thread. However the solution with your GX-27 can indeed be bad joints. My GX-27 has no major joint problems on its legs so mine is perfectly fine. So it seems your GX-27 has poor leg joints then. Like I posted to your solution, try pulling the legs out tight so the knees will have no problem retracting. If it doesn't work and if you're not satisfied, more members will reply to your problem or exchange yours with a new one(if you have all the accessories intact and the reciept).

How can you have loose ankles? You guys are pushing the feet all the way in aren't you. The joint is like the Getters, just give it a good push while holding the button on the back of his foot as for the lower legs give it a decent pull till you feel it click into place, don't be afraid of breaking these things since they pretty damn sturdy (there Champions of the shelf dive). If it still loose then you'll have to take it apart, on regular SOC's there are no rubber caps but springs that push down on the ball joint to add tension. I wouldn't recommend this, if you can I would just return it for a new one or atleast get a new lower half since the one I have is in perfect condition.

GX-27 was released a month ago, so prices are still relatively inexpensive. I suggest you buy another one. I did. You never know when you need a back up, especially with a shelf dive.
