Hi Bros. Sorry don't know if this has been discussed before. When buying SOCs from someone how much does the box condition dictate the price of the SOCs? Just got a set of GX-18, 19 & 20 never displayed but the 18 and 19 slight dent and the 20 quite good. Got it all for $200 (with free delivery) ;D. what you all think? Here's some pics and Thanks in advance for any comments. [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ]

Your pics are not working, btw.
I think the importance of box condition is one of those "eye of the beholder" qualifications. Personally I don't mind a few minor bumps on boxes as long as the contents are in good shape... Considering you got all three of the Getter G bots for $200, that's pretty good either way. Mint boxes would've been an extra bonus for you.

200 USD for the Getter set is a good deal, in my opinion, that is. It looks like prices are going down because Bandai is going to re-issue all 3 Getters in one box sometime in December. So I heard...
As for the box condition, the previous owner messed up when removing the seal tape. That happens sometimes. It takes practice and then you get better at removing the seal tape without damaging the box. Hell, I've messed up my boxes like that with my first SOCs.
At first I couldn't see the Dynamic official sticker because of the angle of the photos, but now I see it. This is a really good deal. How's the actual SOCs inside?
The box condition usually matters for finicky collectors. You can resell for a higher price if the box is in mint condition. On the other hand, if you're not planning to resell and just want to display the SOCs, then who cares about the box.

$200.00 is an excellent deal plus box condition should only matter if you plan on selling them later.

To me, the main thing is to have the contents in perfect shape. But I like my packages to be in the best possible shape too, I don't buy to resell, and I don't think about reselling, but I like my things to be in good condition.

"Judging books by its cover..."
I'm not too worried about bumps and dings. I personally think it is all about how the toy inside is like. But I won't ever resell...anyway these things are not normally shipped directly to the US so it will reach the hands of many careless couriers that will make it extremely hard to locate a mint box. I hope that we never get to the same ridiculousness as the comic collectors in the 80's whereas you have to get into some god awful position in order to read the comic...

Thank you all very much for your replies. Well the actual condition inside is all quite good as it was not displayed and only opened to check the contents. :-) Hopefully can finally display it
