Congrats on the new acquisition, Vic!
Dang that Aquarion certainly looks good! It's also nice to know that it can pull off those kneeling poses reall decent-like!
I'm just curious... those pics with the Aquarion standing, is it really standing on it's own (because I don't see the back support anywhere), or are you holding it off cam?
Thanks for posting the pics!

I'm just curious... those pics with the Aquarion standing, is it really standing on it's own (because I don't see the back support anywhere), or are you holding it off cam? Thanks for posting the pics! Thanks Omni! First, "I DO" really got a hard time posing this dude! Also, it was "HARD" to make it stand alone! BTW, no photoshop or tricks to make it stand up on its own. I just put it on balance and the styro helps a little bit on some of my posings then I shoot. When you touch it, it will fall down or mess the posing ;D. The knee positioning is a little bit pain in the ---. I just use some imagination that is why i did that. Im tired of looking on the aquarions w/ a stand on its back, so I just did my best to make it out of the picture. But when displaying, better use the stand or you'll be sorry, I can tell. I got a problem w/ the knees of my Solar Aquarion, it cannot hold the weight of the backpack, it will surely fall down, just try to balance it. Some of the moving parts are not that strong to hold some posings. That's the drawback, sorry. But I really like this figure, so BIG, heavy, nice diecast content though not that much, and cool!

Man, howieh's not kidding around! Those are the best pictures I've seen of Aquarion so far! It looks really good.
So was it hard to pose Luna Aquarion? With his big back piece, I'm surprised you were able to keep him from tipping backward.

I couldn't say anything, thank you guys! I wasn't that fond on this toy before but after watching the anime, and the design of the Assault-Type not to mention the gimmicks, I just caught and got the toy. Hehe, I had a hard time posing them! It took me a lot of time to come up w/ a posing on each. And not to consider using the stand. I was just lucky I balanced them. BTW, I didn't do much posing on the legs of Aquarion Luna, since the design of the toy will not permit it to kneel. But it looks very cool (photogenic IMHO) when standing straight. Luna will fall backwards if the wings (Mars) is positioned backwards, so I just posed it a little bit sideways to balance it. So far no damage and chipping on the toy though I got some out of the box, but its not a problem. The paint job was awesome! Like I said before, when displaying this in any config, you have to use the stand, its inevitable, you do really need the stand to secure this expensive baby. W/ its heavy weight and design, it really wont keep on standing. I admit some of the joints are not that thight to hold the fig, but still w/ balancing the fig, it will be no problem. Also I wanna see if the Assault-Type is much thighter than this original like LurkerX said.

Vic01:
hey man you kind of misunderstood me what I meant to say is that although it is tighter overall in some joints its kind of useless as its new found tightness is in all the wrong joints it makes it harder to pose the thing.
for instance, raising and lowering the arm in Delta A. is really hard without having the chest half move out of place with the arm.

@ LurkerX: I see and understand what you mean. So your new aquarion is not that thight on the critical parts. That is sad to know. I ope mine is not, but can't be help. pinoy78: Whats up, kabayan?! Nwayz, I would like to clarify some things. First, too much blowing of air to Aquarion Mars will make it fall down. You see the legs, ayt? However, the Aquarion Luna is much stable than the Mars though you need to pose it a certain way. The Solar is the most stable, I can pose mine w/o the stand on my shelf. It will not fall w/ blowing or just shaking the sturdy shelf or table, its just like some of the regular SOC and sturdier than my CM's Star Gaogaigar IMHO. Here's what I have, it never fell by blowing and shaking, I do really shake the table, it is still standing up... I rotate the thights to lock the knees so that it won't bend backwards coz we know he's carrying a big ship on its back I stretched it a little bit... more... Just dont make it straight all the way to the back, it will fall ;D Just messing... Thanks! Ope this help to people who have this toy. But never underestimate the stand of aquarion vic01

In my own opinion it looks too colourful and too busy. I don't like it any single bit.
