Hi there. I wish to add a new Getter to my cabinet. But the problem is that there is too many diffrent model.
Can anybody help me make a godd decision? I have from Bandai GX-06 and GX-18-19-20. Will Bandai has made annoncement regarding Shin Getter?
About Aoshime, I don't know their product, because I prefered Max Factory Mazinkaiser over Aoshima one.
And since I' not a collector of Getter, I want only one. What version is the best, most accurate?
Also, they seems to be hard to find now, there is not much choice on eBay. Any reissue?

I'd get the "anime accurate" version with green lines and double edged axe but that's me I know others here would prefer the black version or some other ones

My opinion, the original release is still the best. I don't know why, I guess it must be the brown paint on the shoulders, giving it more contrast(as oppossed to the all red and white color on the closed wing version) Please click to view larger image. However, it might be a little difficult to get the first release nowdays. The Blacks are usually limited to 5000pieces produced.. or so one Toyshop in Hongkong told me a while back. I can't be sure. But hey, you can get any version. if you like it, then thats all it matters

I agree with the group... get the shin getter devil wing version (1st ver.) ...it's more anime accurate... the closed wing version is only a repaint... here's a picture of shin getter

Originally, Shin Getter is all red without any of the brown color. That new color appeared in Neo Getter vs Shin Getter. Depends on which anime you are talking about. IF you are talking about Getter Robo Armageddon, then get the all red one. Choose the wings style you like. But if you like the Neo Getter vs. Shin Getter version, expect to pay more because those are older.

i think the only difference between the shin getter in "last day" and the shin getter in "shin vs neo" is the color of the chestplate. in last day it is red. in shin vs neo, tis white. you can see the comparison in these posters- i have the aoshima with white chestplate, tis the shin getter in "shin vs neo". i'm still looking for the 1st release (in gold's picture above), the one with red chestplate (for my shin "last day" version).

And the first release is still the best in terms of looks. Devilwing on the other hand is cool because it got glow in the dark stripes and cool wings, though some complain the wings fall off easier. But if you are just getting one, probably a color version would be better.

Man it's really difficult to find it's way around with all those color scheme. I'll try to fing the OAV version or export version.
As for the wings, Devil wing mode is cool, but normal is more retro and will fit more with current chogokin.

I've read that different versions come with different weapons. Do any of them have all the weapons?

Gold Correction: Only the closed wing black version comes with both the axe and the scythe. The red closed wing only comes with the axe.
